Yeah, I noticed one of the Pokestops is right by a known “traveler” (train kid) hangout on the side of the river. Another is down by their campsites. I won’t even let my wife walk that section of the bike trail.

I would suggest looking at Pittsburgh’s redline. Maybe it’s light rail, but it rolls right through a neighborhood on the streets. Where there are stops there are areas for cars to go around.
