Yup, exactly. I think people keep focusing on the relatively low numbers of confirmed cases without considering how few people have actually been tested and that the real number is far higher. I think we are already too late to really stem this like South Korea and (maybe?) China has. It’s going to get way worse…

I feel like people are just buying anything they can because they think everything will be gone. The fear of scarcity and missing out seems to be driving the panic buying.
