Yup, I see these responses in my notifications but good work on taking the time to do this. Not sure what the shrugging emoji thing is for but I think you might be a little too invested here, following me around like this. If you don’t want to continue the conversation that’s fine but this is just weird, taking the

I thought you were done with this conversation.

You’ve yet to say anything to make me change my mind. You are looking at this from the perspective of someone who lives near a university and benefits from these stores, of course you think they are great, you didn’t have to pay for the infrastructure to put them there. I said that an alternative worked at my school

I’m really glad that you get to benefit from the increased tuition those students are paying. What worked for my school likely would work there based on everything you’ve said but it sounds like it wouldn’t work for you, which seems like the bigger issue to you.

Man, you are really into this thread, huh? My campus experience more closely relates to the subject of the article and the situation described by that commenter, so I brought it up as a better alternative. It’s not universally applicable but it worked in a very similar situation and is more student and education focus

That is not what I found strange about your comment.

What? This is such a strange comment. Did you have a point or points aside from you thinking that your own experience at your school is universally true for completely different situations?

So a short bus or bike ride would get you to those other stores. As would a cab or Uber. The clinic or rec center on campus would provide for any small first aid type scenarios that you are talking about. None of these are very good reasons to use campus space like this. My school was in a fairly large town but we

Meanwhile, can someone come get Bernie? What the fuck, man?

The guy was talking to CNN, there is no way Trump will ever see this, and if he does, it will be fake news. This will not penetrate the rind of that orange piece of shit.

They don’t apply to both cases because one has tons of access to items that you wouldn’t order online and the other doesn’t. Why do you assume this is demand based? I’m talking about the article and you seem to be only focused on your own single experience. Just because your campus reacted to demand (according to you)

Really? Urban vs. rural is the only difference. In the age of the internet the only real demand for physical stores is things like produce and other (mostly) food products that wont ship well, which I can understand for a rural school but not for one in LA.

Because a rural school faces a different need than one in the middle of LA. One is responding to a real need, the other is profiting off of leases to corporations that benefit from a more captive consumer base.

Yes, your story is absolutely relatable to this story. The University of Southern California is famously located in the middle of nowhere.

When the for profit college method doesn’t work out, try the for profit campus method! All the benefits of a college education but now with even more debt to repay!

Nancy Pelosi has nothing to do with federal or state criminal charges being brought against them after Trump leaves office.

That’s far too much metal and would be a waste. Why not skip straight to barcoding everyone and putting a tracking device under their skin? That would be much more environmentally friendly state surveillance.

This is somehow worse than seeing Democratic candidates tear up their Spanish on the debate stage.”

I really don’t like that nickname for the bus because Ms. Frizzle wouldn’t have let this shit go down.

Nkemdiche probably shouldn’t have insisted on calling his coach Nkliff Nkingsbury. That couldn’t have helped.
