so my issue is that Cloverfield lane had a lot of good set up and pay off, tense sequences, and a story that kept you guessing.

Probably the next full trailer. I think the marketing team is more concerned about showing a strong many different combinations of heroes as possible. Most of the people watching the super bowl trailer don’t know who the black order are.
Honestly can’t disagree. I’ve started rewatching one marvel movie a week to prep for Infinity war and now in hindsight all the post credit scenes feel kind of lame.
Do you think battle for middle earth holds up? I missed both of them when they came out but always wanted to play them.
The only thing I know about this director is F8 so with that being said
And to add on to your point, it’s clear the resistance doesn’t have the resources to keep making giant ships to ram into their enemies.
This is why Netflix CEO isn’t a screenwriter.
Yeah I’d put Blade Runner in there over The Post. Spielberg has mastered the art of making a movie but he really hasn’t tried anything risky and new in a long time.
Slightly off topic, but the response to fast food workers want $15 an hour is always “our military doesn’t make that”
I would argue that Disney buying marvel was a much bigger moment than all 3 DC heroes on the screen together. Mainstream audiences now love tons of lesser known characters like groot and Ant-man. Ultimately I think the buzz around Bateman v. Superman was lack laster and has done nothin to shape populate culture.
That joke would have been too much. But all the people saying the jokes ruined all the emotional moments in the movie are nuts.

Yeah as someone who hasn’t never been crazy about the CW super hero shows it’s a hard idea to get behind. For me I’ll enjoy it once it come so to Netflix and I’ve got no Friday night plans.
Rewatched The force awakens, Han and Chewie use basically the same bombs that are dropped just smaller. They have magnets on the bottom. Not sure if it was intentional.
Han also abandoned his friends and family. It’s not until he meets Rey that he decides to fix his mistakes. Same with Luke.
this AND the plan was for the smaller ships to get away secretly. If the big ship got destroyed the bad guys would have known to do a scan for smaller ships. It would have given the whole original plan away.
I don’t know physics. But a Star Destroyer did crash into the second death star and do basically nothing. So my assumption is that the ship wouldn’t have enough mass to tear through something the size of the moon (again I don’t know physics and it’s Star Wars). Also they really don’t have any ships that size in the…
The video store in my hometown is still going strong. Just rented some movies over the weekend.
Right? I thought that every time I saw a theory inbetween movies. Being a child of anybody we know would have been boring and nothing new.
To add onto your point, he was only conflicted for a second and was horrified that he even thought about it before Ben woke up and saw the lightsaber.
