I mean, it’s not gambling. If people really think this is a big deal write your representatives and senators to try to put in regulations (such as a mandated disclosure of drop rates).

Key words are maximum sentence. I promise those rapists you see also had a maximum sentence of at least 10 years, probably more like 20-30. I’d be shocked if this couple does more than a year or two in actual prison with a pretty lengthy probation to follow.
