It’s definitely Captain Morgan. Cruzan is amazing, but they don’t have the facilities to produce enough to supply Costco.

A lot of those movie rental deals are free on Amazon Prime or Nerflix. Just FYI.

I have been working in the service industry for twenty years now (I’m 36). I’m finally opening up a restaurant with a friend. And do you know how happy I am that I can finally tell customers like that to fuck right the hell off? It’s so amazing that thinking about it brings tears to my eyes.

Both of my brothers have autism & are picky as hell. We ask NICELY when we go out & need special things. We also explain the situation extremely apologetically and then tip VERY well. And for anything that is just plain ridiculous (like the grill marks thing), we tell them NO.

Ugh. And the photo is even taken on Canal St. in New Orleans. I’m embarrassed for my fellow New Orleanians...

The stars moved, changed. I didn't.

Oh, I get that! But yeah, a lifetime of free repairs definitely offsets the cost. The outlet is in Montevarchi, a bit south of Florence, if you ever go. Totally worth the trip, lol.

I know it’s pricey, but Prada also has a lifetime warranty, if you buy items from one of their stores (not Saks, or another retailer). I lived in Italy for years and would buy stuff cheap at their outlet (under $100 for a pair of shoes). Even when I’d drunkenly scrape up my heels, the retail store would fix it for

Obviously I’m not the expert, but I feel like Birchbox generally has higher end products and more bang for your buck. They stay fairly neutral with shades, too, so it’s good for people of differing skin types/tones.

I would REALLY recommend Birchbox to start out. It’s also $10 per month & I’ve loved 98% of what they’ve sent me. I’ve tossed a couple of fragrances, but that’s it. They’ve also got a great shop w/nice bonuses.

I called their customer service. Their rep said they ran out of certain products & had to get more to put into the boxes, hence the delay. Maybe they’re just growing too fast to keep up?

Happy birthday! I really love your column. I do Birchbox (which I <3) & I’m waiting for my first Glossybox, after your recommendation. I keep thinking about PopSugar, but it’s just so hard to justify $40 per month on a crapshoot. After your review, I’m putting it off a little longer, lol.

Apparently they are having serious shipping problems this month. I ordered mine on the 4th & still haven’t gotten it. I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after reading all the complaints on their FB page...well, it’s hard.

It depends for me. My first choice is to book through Starwood or Hilton, using my points accounts, because the rewards are very good (SPG is my favorite). Otherwise, I might use a travel site, just to get a quick discount. For a longer stay, I like to book an apartment through Venere, if possible.

Can "Florida Cop" be a new thing? It really should be.

As a New Orleanian, I apologize for Jindal. Please know that we did not vote for him (it was the rest of the state) and he embarrasses ALL of us.

I don't think he said that. He may be into all sorts of body types.

I seriously don't understand everyone freaking out about this. It's a transaction. Do people not know sex is a currency?

Yeah, points for honesty. I would much rather a guy be direct & upfront about his expectations.
