This part of the Max interview made me laugh way too hard first thing this morning:

Chevy SS. Only one model and came with only 3 options, paint color, manual or auto transmission, and lastly, spare tire. That is it. Came equipped with 415 hp LS3, Mag ride suspension, Brembo brakes on all 4 corners, bi-modal exhaust, different ride/steering settings, nav and all the tech gizmos, HUD, leather…

I saw one of these driving through the grocery store parking lot a couple of months ago. I said to myself, “Holy shit, is that a Bricklin?” and the guy must have read my lips because he yelled out the window, “Yeah, it’s a Bricklin!”.

Luxury in price only, the cockpit is not a pretty place to be sitting, nor does the overall design convey anything but appliance vehicle.

The Enclave actually has the most room in that third row, and it’s a little bit nicer on the top trim. None of the competitors have massaging seats for example. 

This asshat’s whole schtick is based on a lie. His campaign announcement is misleading as well, as it’s filmed in front of a shack and not his StAteLy MAnoR.

Where do people even read this stuff? The LNF is extremely tunable. You’re generally rock solid to 400hp on stock internals. A simple tune will bump the power up over 300 to the wheels and 330 ft-lbs. GM themselves sold a performance tune that roughly made those numbers, warrantied. 

You would win all of the Radwoods in this.

If I remember back to biology class, sometimes when two wheels get together, sometimes the undesirable traits match up and low and behold something new is born.

So in my opinion, the bulk of your take here, which in return I will tell you I also appreciate, can be traced back to this initial question of yours about external stimuli.

The downside is for the rest of us who don’t want the damned things. The automakers are lemmings and are starting to not make anything else BUT those cars.
