Danimalk - Drives a Slow Car Fast

From what I understand it did so on experimental tires. Since the features they list does not include the special tires, I would assume that those are not production, street legal tires that come on this special edition.

I’d trade to even cheaper interior materials it meant a faster track car.

And everyone yawned at the one trick ponies.

“Lifts?! Look Kramer you don’t understand, this kind of thing is just not done.”

Close, but I don’t think that’s it.

And more horns. You can never find a horn when you need one.

I work in a furniture adjacent industry, I’ve got some bad news for you. These exist:

It’s too tall and I hate it.

I was hoping they would do it! EVERYONE else has given up on the gated manual. How cool would have been if the Vette picked it back up?

Yeah but” plenty have commented the styling of the C8 is amazing inside and out, and Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, BMW, Mecerdes, Maserati, Pagani, Koenigsegg, Bugatti DOES go all in on automated manuals for their performance vehicles.

He trolls every C8 thread, looking for any reason to rag on a car no one has driven yet. He just grasping at straws trying to find or create faults with a brand new car.

Not controversial, it should prove itself, but the C7 has already proven the Corvette can run with or beat pretty much any competition on a track, nurburgring or not. So Chevy has the people to do it.

Did you even read that article?? The whole message is that it IS a sub 7 car but bad luck, crowded track, weather, and scheduling issues held it back, not lack of performance.

A ~$150k ZR1 is already one of the fastest cars you can buy for the track, regardless of price.

You could get Brownstone on a C7

I get what you’re saying, because of the carbon tub and everything, but the road car Ford GT was homologated for GTLM racing just like the C7 was, not prototype level. So they were both made with the same professional racing performance level I’m mind.

All C7s have an LSD. The Z51 package swaps to Corvettes E-diff, which has electronically controlled clutches to manage slip.

The C7 non-z51 still has an LSD. The Z51 adds Corvettes fancy E-diff which has electronic clutches to manage slip.

Shame you couldn't afford a 911.
