You're right, but if a toggle switch confuses you I’m not really sure what to say...

Believe it or not, my dad taught me how to drive manual in his Ruby Red, 40th Anniversary ZR-1. Yeah it was as nerve-wracking as you would think.

You’re right, but that has more to do with our overall increasingly short-sighted, disposable culture, and less to do with Chevy’s new electric hatchback.

*cough cough*

Which will sell like crazy, haha

I’m most interested in seeing the difference in interior quality. At the same price point you would expect them to be fairly similar, right?

Haha stupid fat fingers, stupid small phone screen, stupid autocorrect...

Tesla is probably even more relieved it’s not a luxury sedan.

I guess I’m not taking it as seriously as you do as I’m looking at it from an automotive industry eye not a “big-picture, government-regulation, US-laws” one.

It seems like you are the only one who thinks these cars are for the average car buyer.

That’s a lot of words that don’t really address the fact that some people want to use less fuel and these are the cars for them. You can do the math however you want. You are using more dino juice even if the cost is more.

Or you know... they just want to use less fuel.

This. this. this.

Sonic over Fit every day.

I read your reply and it only seems to SUPPORT the fact that it was ahead of the curve, no?

There were a ton of anti-electirc lobbyists at that time, most weren’t even car manufacturers. So... the technology was ahead of the decision-maker’s mentality of the time.

Too soon...

Well with that forced induction you got a direct injected, 260 hp/260 lb.ft. 160 mph, standard launch control, no-lift shifting, 30% stiffer suspension, unique steering rack, Brembo brakes, a true LSD, and 30 mpg hwy. All starting at ~$23k.

I’m not going to defend the car too much, but on a track, the Cobalt SS from 7 years ago(!) out performed the Mustang GT of the time, and is still ~4 seconds a lap faster than the new Focus ST/GTI.

This is one of the most unfortunate looking cars available today.
