Danimalk - Drives a Slow Car Fast

Sure those individual things are “better” from your perspective, but they all add up to a slower 1/4 mile, slower 0-60, slower top speed, and ultimately a slower overall lap time. (The braking distance, that you incorrectly point out, is the only area the Ford hangs with the aged Chevy.)

0-60 times are very close with my research pointing to the Cobalt being a tenth or 2 ahead. It also has a slight G-force edge on the skidpad.

Sure, but that is just from the entire car persepctive. Not just the engines, as originally stated.

Well on a track a Cobalt SS from 6 years ago would walk away from the Focus ST today so...

Yup, but if we start from the begining, how about even before the yellow?

I was going to say those old Fords, but then realized this was from half a century ago.

We’ll be sure to run all our discussion ideas past you first so that you can let us know what is and is not relevant to talk about.

“It’s in the flaws where you find the most character.”

An article about Fiat and Mazda, but trolls STILL find a way to blame GM.

I remember the Opel Adam being first, so really it’s in the brand’s design DNA.

Not sure what being vain has to do with it, and “all” our 4 doors certainly are not pretending to be coupes.

That never really bothered me. It allows a little bit of the 2-door look but with 4-door functionality. Citroen, Chevy, and Seat all do it pretty well. I think this rendering looks great too.

Nice Fusion bro.

I went to test drive one a few weeks ago and they only had 2 and both were sold with a third customer filling out paperwork on ordering another one. Salesman said there was a 4-6 week waiting list. :/ I guess demand is very high right now.

Balboni would laugh at your weakness.

Oh, I get the point... Still looks terribly cheap. :/

Really? I’m not doubting you but I haven’t heard that before? Is there a pic or something I’m missing?

I HATE how much of the grill is blocked off. :/

What specifically “looks expensive” about that interior?

I’m near Chicago and I agree, the Porsche blends right, but only because it’s being driven by every 60 year old fat balding white guy midlife crisis rolling down the street. Only they buy the base, non-S 911, with all the plain trim in various shades of dirty gray.
