Too bad it's just a sports car that will only even cruise the country club. :/

I would totally agree with you if I didn't actually know a gay hairdresser that loves his TT. He knows he's enforcing the stereotype but he doesn't care.
Yeah on the show haha.
Built by Bob Villa.
I'm just saying I'd rather hear the actual engine versus a computer's digital wav file version of one. If that means there's a little more tire roar and wind noise along with my authentic engine note, then so be it. (It's a Mustang after all, not a Lexus) The Mustang's NVH has gotten along just fine for decades…
If we're talking a Lexus-type of car then I would agree, but in my opinion a Mustang should provide a thorough aural experience beyond just an engine note.
I could be wrong, but I assumed while they have 5 key rpm sound files shown here, these files are blending together to smooth the transition along the rev range depending on situation.
It 100% depends on what car this tech is on. You are not wrong though.
Yeah I guess my point is not against the technology, just its application on this car.
"...but I can understand the justification; if a car is really well insulated (which you want it to be) then the driver lacks a certain amount of engine feedback..."
The delux package is a poor example, I agree.
That's a really hilarious joke. Because people died! HAHA!
That's because it's actually an Audi.
I doubt this plugin hybrid is competing with the S8 either.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but in your example it may have something to do with the Escalade name being about 5 years older than any name in the rest of the Cadillac lineup.
If it's not Torch's "Rolling Thunder Hippo" from his supercar article last week, I'm not interested.
