My Tempo has quite large tail lights, with pretty big amber turn signals. I love them. Bright, yes, but also clean and prominent. That said, I don't think they should be required in the front or rear. Instead maybe just have a rule that mandates how visible/bright they are?

Personally, I think that ethanol needs to be taken out of gas, or have it be the law of the land that there must be a midrange-octane, non-ethanol formulation available at every fueling location. I realize that this is a state law and isn't true everywhere.
