I rather like the way those first two look. Quite handsome. The later one looks like a bloated blob.

Blacked out lights.

Early to mid 00’s when it seemed like every kid was throwing a coffee can exhaust/res delete on their 4 cyl base model that wasn’t a sport compact. Civic, Cavalier, Golf. It didn’t matter, they all sounded like garbage.

Fake vents. Fake exhausts. Fake noises. Farting between shifts. Fake pops and bangs. Those stupid indicators that Audi brought to us because reasons.

I know this is beating a dead horse, but the stance fad needs to end. Along with the #RespectAllBuilds retort you get when you tell them how dumb their 15 degrees of camber, crazy stretched wheels, 1mm of ground clearance, etc... is.

Notably, you were far less likely to cut your finger on the rough, unfinished edge of some plastic trim piece in any number of the Caliber’s competitors.

Uh.....you really want this to be the cross you want to bear? Really? The Caliber?

It’s a crying shame that the Caliber had such woeful, terrible execution because the basic concept of the tall hatchback was the wave of the future; replacing it with the Dart was a step backwards designwise as well as stepping into the teeth of one of the most competitive segments, they’d been better off refining the

I have a 2006 Civic DX with no options, not even a radio when I bought it new for $14500. The interiors aren’t even close.

Did a cross country trip in my mothers brand new(was in first batch dealer got) at the time very well-equipped Compass. It had two positives, the upgraded stereo sounded okay and it got okay mileage. Otherwise it was chintzy(flashings were razor sharp), cramped, slow, uncomfortable, and subjectively(though almost

Even then, the mercedes of that area weren’t the best. The W220 is one of the worst S classes ever made from a reliability standpoint. A real shame to be honest

I used to assistant manage a fleet at a prior job. We got the Caliber in for testing. Everyone who drove it hated it. I drove it for 2 weeks and didn’t find a single redeeming quality in that car. It sucked in every way possible. And thats a lot coming from someone whose daily driver at the time was a Volkswagen Fox.

A modified Dodge Calibre! Why?

The interiors were massive, unadulterated crap, the build quality was non-existent, the drivelines groaned endlessly while providing neither power or fuel economy, and shopping carts handled better. Honda, Toyota, Ford , Chevy, Subaru, and Nissan all offered better alternatives at the same cost. The only competition

What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this comment forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no stars, and may God have mercy

It was a garbage car compared to anything in its class.

Yeah, no. It’s still a terrible car inside and out.

I had a Mazda3 from that era and my girlfriend had a Honda Civic, both absolutely destroyed the Caliber in performance, options, interior quality and reliability... hell, my 98 Geo Prizm (Corolla) had a nicer interior and better performance.

The Caliber was the car you got if the Lancer interior was too nice. Jesus its even a worse version of the same fucking platform.

Dude... Don’t pick this hill to die on. It was/is a POS.
