That car was hot garbage. It was overrated, not underrated.

That is the most disturbing rebate I could possibly imagine. Overtly focusing on subprime buyers/loans is a recipe for a Mitsubishi-style disaster.

“The Charger is the last RWD full-size American sedan.” — sure yes, but there are other RWD full-size sedans out there for somebody looking for a full-side sedan. And “American” is a misnomer for a car assembled in Canada for a company run by Italians.

The key metric here isn’t “Dodge sells some old cars”. It’s that “Dodge almost exclusively sells old cars”. When you consider that Chrysler/Dodge round out the bottom of every quality and reliability study, it starts to look more like they’re just churning out crowd-pleasers with as little investment as possible.

I definitely consider them to be the same car. Interior and drivetrain tweaks do not equal platform changes. FCA just does things a little differently, and saves some pennies. While most automakers do mild mid-cycle refreshes with mainly exterior tweaks in between 5-6 year platform changes, FCA is keeping platforms

If you wrote this in jest you’re a genius.

I have to believe that this is incredibly well-written satire.

My mom will think you’re super-rich. No one else will. They’ll think you wanted a nice but modest car that’s a step up from a Camry. Take it. Enjoy it. Sell it if you don’t like it, split the proceeds with your dad if you feel weird about it.

Agree. I had one, very few people thought it was fancy, and if a previous generation it is easy to explain away.

Don’t worry, no one will think you’re fancy driving a C-Class.

Money, the same reason people take it to the streets in the first place.

It’s also less hideous than the Prius Prime, somehow.

FUCK YOU ALL I LOVE THIS CAR COME AT ME BROS

Meh, 6 of 1, half dozen of the other. I like that goofy little car.

Hellcat engine swap? Sweet!

Well my word. That truck was decabitated.

I never understood the point of the Crosstour. “I want an Accord, but I want it taller, uglier and clumsier for absolutely no reason.”
