I’m kinda surprised EGR wasn’t sanctioned for leading the witness.

First of all, I’ve already ruled on a case that I was involved in when my wonderful grandmother shaded the hell out of me.
IDK if it’s shade or a burn (semantics, mere semantics) but this was one of my favorite things this week:
I think we can all safely assume that Mariah Carey, for one, knows EXACTLY what she’s doing.
Pretty sure you’re supposed to recuse yourself from cases you’re directly involved in. I’m really disappointed in you right now. The justice system is such a joke.
I ventured into one because they set up in the SAME BUILDING as the clinic. The escorted me and a friend into an office and shut the door. Once my friend caught onto what was happening, he told me to get up and leave with him. I tried to open the door, but the LOCKED it behind us. My friend threatened to call the…
ACK WHITE PEOPLE THIS IS THE ONLY REASON YOU SHOULD FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELVES
Let me tell you about what life is like as a fat sexworker. My job involves sharing photos of myself as a strong, sexy, sexual woman, in varying degrees of undress. It involves me setting a figure - a not inexpensive one, either - on what I feel access to my body is worth.
This, for a myriad of reasons, makes some men…
why are you here
What is the purpose of this comment?
It’s a blog about traveling. Yes, traveling is a privilege.
Do you go on cooking blogs and complain that people are talking about food that isn’t lentils? Do you go on car blogs and complain that people aren’t all driving Yugos?
Like what the fuck?
I don't see where she made that assumption in the first place. She said nothing at all about "most people". She talked about how she did it.
This is the sort of response that really annoys me. Everyone has problems that shrink in relation to other people's problems. We are allowed to talk about the things happening in our lives. If those things interest other people, it's nice to make connections. It's not just people who are suffering that experience life…
I found surprisingly little about this piece “clueless”. The author wrote about her love of traveling and her transition to not being as free to just up and go- none of it came out as a blatant disregard for her privilege. Your personal bitterness isn’t on her.
She’s just speaking to her own experiences. Having a family can be challenging and limiting, no matter what background you come from.
People on facebook are liars, anyway. No one’s fine, no one’s satisfied. If they’re posting on facebook, they’re just pretending.
When it came down to it, the choice was fertility treatments or travel. We decided to do an around-the-world trip in the spirit of Paul Theroux and Long Way Round, to make memories and have adventures and just live life. We would board a train in London and get off in Beijing. Hop to Tokyo and then home. We each had…
who says you can’t travel with kids, though? It’s trickier to navigate because you have more than yourself to plan/pack for, but it’s not impossible. I don’t think I’ll ever sign up for this “having a spouse and kids keeps you rooted” thing.
WHAT THE FUCK.
That was an IUD called the Dalkon Shield. It had a braided string, which facilitated pelvic infections. This was back in the 70’s. The new ones (Mirena, Paragard, Skyla, Liletta) do not have braided strings and no longer carry that risk. It’s really outdated information and now the AAP even recommends IUCs (updated…
I’m up for a mass bloody protest.
