I don’t see how the carnivore people are getting anywhere close to the recommended balance of anything unless they take a bunch of supplements (and then shouldn’t that be a message that the diet isn’t exactly ideal?)

Yeah, I was with my now husband for 8 years (living together 7) before we got married 6 years ago. Absolutely no difference other than people stopped asking us when we were going to get married.

If you want a wild take, look into the people who think you should eat basically nothing but red meat (Carnivore diet.) They have this would chatroom on Reddit where they talk non stop about constantly having diarrhea.

Yikes, and it’s written to sound like going to college at all doesn’t matter.

Hm, so it seems like I did understand the line and I’m confused as to how “college doesn’t matter” is an included statement. Oh well.

Ohh I like this theory.  As if they weren’t annoying already.

College doesn’t really matter? Do you mean which college you go to doesn’t necessarily matter? Because having a degree definitely matters in a lot of careers.

That’s awful, but I’m glad your son told you, and that you were able to take action. kudos to you and your husband for creating a home where your son felt safe to come to you.

I’m glad this is terms as “for adults” and even better as “for adults who want to quit nicotine.” That being said, being in favor of increased use of an addictive substance that’s pretty clearly marketed to teenagers is just such a wild hill to die on.

OR they are just keeping their family safe, which requires driving a 7 series BMW*.

Hiking out to a remote camping site and seeing giant deep scratches across the bear safe boxes is a little scary. But at least you know as long as people were responsible, the bears hopefully learned there was no food to be found there and won’t return.

This makes me think I should revisit sours.  I tried a couple that I did not like at all, but I keep being told by more and more people about ones that they like, and their descriptions do not match the taste of what I have tried before.

This is happening right now as an election platform in Canada, also. I just saw an article on how the Liberals want to attack the middle class with a 10% luxury tax on cars, boats and AIRPLANES that cost more than 100K.

How does something like this end up happening - is she in a contract she couldn’t get out of? Is it for attention? Is she being paid?

If only they didn’t constantly let you know by blowing fruity clouds in your face all the time

They are very pretty, but definitely still have enough wild left in them that they have a lot of energy - even at 10 they spent about 30 or so mins last night chasing each other around the house.. At least having 2 means they play and fight with each other which keeps them occupied.

I really wanted on of those!  But I knew deep down that if I paid that much for something, they would only want to use the box it came in.

They are bengals, bred with wild cats at some point in their genetic history.  I love them, but I always say they are cats for people who unconditionally love cats haha

I generally take bigger issue with cat breeders than dog breeders, but the doodle trend is indeed pretty out of control. I think most dog owners I know either have some kind of doodle or a shelter dog. I have “designer” cats, which happen to be a breed that is very often rehomed because they are half wild and aren’t
