But even accounting for differences in education, males are more quickly promoted and sought after for administrative and leadership positions in education. Even in universities, male professors are more likely to be department chairs, etc.

Totally. I'm a teacher too and wouldnt choose to be an administrator. HOWEVER... we do need to think about why men are choosing those kinds of jobs and women aren't. I think a lot of it is that men are more "sought out" for those jobs. Sure a lot of women wouldnt want those jobs but a lot of men wouldnt either.

ive heard of this sort of thing being referred to as the "glass elevator" before. "Parting Gift" Fiona Apple

Does Jezebel hate "Take Back the Night" too?

Totally. Aint nobody got time for that.

yup im def low carb (fml) but maybe i will try some vitex too. ill see if i can buy it around here. my small town is in the middle of nowhere and kind of limited so i could always order online.

I have not tried Vitex...Ive tried a million other supplements but not Vitex. My main concern is not fertility though. I would prefer not to get pregnant. My main concern is ridiculous rapid weight gain despite tons of diet and exercise. Do you think Vitex would help with that?

Ive already given up dairy and gluten more or less...not like super strict (like, if I am chewing gum I dont worry about "trace gluten" or whatever). I kind of use both gluten and dairy as condiments....I might have a sprinkle here or there. I probably have one small serving of food with gluten a day, some days no

Kind of off topic but I have PCOS and my symptoms are NOT under control...mostly the weight gain despite a ton of diet and exercise. Besides metformin and birth control, are any of you other PCOS people on anything else? What has worked for you?

Go out. If its lame you can always leave early.

I love the expression. My complaint isnt the wrinkles/crinkles/bags...its the dull complexion the artist gave her. Her skin appears in pictures to be much more radiant.
