Idk if anyone cares, but "frat" is considered to be a derogatory term by many fraternity members who prefer the term "fraternity member." This guy is a total jerk and I'm not saying that he is worthy of the respect, but I know that in general Jezzies like to call people by their preferred terminology so its just an #

To be fair though, I think posting something like "Love you! Excited for dinner tonight!" or whatever is a little different than sharing about actual personal things (medical things or embarrassing things etc). I wouldnt be comfortable with that.

I think it depends on the relationship and the personality types of the people. I like when my husband will put something public on facebook because it makes me feel like he's proud to be with me.

ahahahaah totally

I saw Blue Valentine not-alone and I was super sad afterwards. Just thinking about it is making me super sad, again. I am thinking that the super sad came from the movie itself and not the alone part.

AAHAHAHAH RAINBOW PARTY! that is the EXACT thing i was thinking about when i was reading this. i was like "yeah, but is this actually a thing? or is this like rainbow parties?"

I had the same moment with that scene of her in bed. She was breath taking. You could see hints of curves, etc, and she looked so effortless and beautiful.

Its totally darker. And triggering. remember when don fever dream murdered that lady? omg.

I thought it was Good but it was so triggering that now I cant sleep. So in that way...its the worst.

My husband and I watched this episode together and both felt physically sick during that part. I dont know what I thought Don was going to do....I dont think I thought anything. The chase in and of itself was terrifying and disrespectful. She is allowed to not want to be near him.

this, totally. when i was watching her do it i was cheering for her. i was like...go peggy go! and the optimist in me really thought that it was going to work on that beans guy. and then.....it didnt. and i got the same message that you did. she was don, but she wasnt allowed to be. because shes a woman.

Aahahahahhaah is this a "Little Bee" reference?! I die.

I travel to other countries a lot and I am the same way. In the United States when these things happen to me I tremble and cant form words. When I am overseas, somehow, I have a voice. I am not sure why this happens except that when I am overseas I am already so far out of my comfort zone that it makes me braver? Or

Are you also a libertarian? Haha.

Thats funny/interesting. I should've given this prediction before you posted because now it wont seem real, but from the things that you said I was guessing that you were under 30, male, and working/educated in some sort of STEM field. People's backgrounds really do inform their perspective.

amen.

Kind of off topic but if you dont mind me asking, what is your educational background or job or major in college or...whatever? You say you arent a sociologist and it made me curious.

Yeah it is completely messed up. And you are right, there is not even close to enough freaking out/news media coverage/legislation etc about this. Which is one of many reasons why so many of us here are so fucking pissed off.

Let me also assure you that being a victim of attempted sexual assault is very traumatizing and should not be overlooked because the assault was not "completed."

As far as sacred ideals go, I hold this ideal to be sacred:
