Like, we’re seriously to believe that he ate an ENTIRE rat, bones and all? I question if even Cricket could pull that off. At least just show some carcass and viscera or something...

This goes so far that in television, if you introduce a character in your episode and that character gets used in future episodes, you always get paid for their use. So for instance, who ever first introduced Gus on Breaking Bad would get paid for every episode of Better Call Saul that he’s in.
Fuck. I forgot that I had actually seen Cooper in THE ELEPHANT MAN and it WAS a revelation.
It still blows my mind that he was the jilted “love interest” in ALIAS who eventually got written off and now he’s arguably leagues above Garner...
I mean, he’s also the writer--Megan Ganz’--husband.
I mean, I totally loved this installment and the first glimpse of what the show REALLY is, but this is far from just some silly ‘80s caper.
And really, if you don’t pick up on this and the catharsis of the final scene, then there’s no point to this episode.
I mean the logical conclusion is that Dutch would have been in there and that “Predator Killer” is some new badass moniker he’s been given. It really felt like something else was in that pod and then they reshot it to add the suit.
With the tone of the film, I’m honestly surprised that Sterling K Brown’s character doesn’t say exactly that.
This is a great element from the game that I totally forgot about. I love that you could just re-do the fight after completion, like some Smash Bros. Melee/Virtua Fighter mash-up.
This season has a huge influx of female writers and directors and it’s VERY clear this year. This isn’t at all a bad thing, but it is an interesting shift this season. This episode heavily came down to males versus females, and the next two episodes are the “Female Reboot” of the “Boggs Episode”and a “Me Too”…
I was going to bring up “The Gang Gets Evaluated.” I think that’s the truest bottle episode that they’ve done so far, minus this one.
For what it’s worth, she also writes the fourth episode of this season (which touches on the “Me Too” movement) and it’s ending is not dissimilar. That being said, I’m super happy that she’s responsible for two of the first four episodes of this season.
Gah, his complete breakdown at the end of the “Family Fight” episode is one of my absolute favorites. That episode doesn’t get enough credit.
There’s a scene in this movie where a Predator wipes out the people in the back of an armored car. When the driver hears some noise and inquires if everything is okay back there, the Predator picks up one of his victims’ severed arms (which is contorted into a “thumbs up” sign) and sticks it through the window to show…
There is a legitimate reason for why the Predator follows Boyd’s son--it’s pretty ridiculous--but it doesn’t treat it like it’s just some random kill. The boy is their big trophy.
UGH, that cut to the master wide shot after all of the close-ups right as the song reaches its chorus is as good as it fucking gets!
That’s my takeaway. “We don’t care about ruining his set, so let’s have at it!” Whether you care about Ansari or not, this whole article is just crazy petty.
There’s a scene in the movie where Norton’s Banner goes to take a shower, and just the noise and intensity of the water from the showerhead hitting him gives him PTSD to bulletfire and enemy attacks. It’s a beautiful, tiny scene that I STILL think about. There’s another small moment where he’s just constantly…
And it STILL blows my mind that in LucasArts’ “Day of the Tentacle” that you can literally sit down at a computer and play the original “Maniac Mansion” in its entirety. There was just a time in gaming when they didn’t care about giving you so much wonderful free content.
