Also just wanted to say that Donkey Kong 64 had the right idea of this with their incorporation of the original Donkey Kong and Rare’s Jetpac, but their implementation of these titles and how they forced you to play them for 100% seriously ruined their enjoyment factor.

So happy that this process is still going on in Sega’s titles. I don’t think I’d have ever become a fan of the Space Harrier games if it wasn’t for my exposure to them through Shenmue’s arcade. I’d love it if Shenmue III kept this going and had the original Streets of Rage cabinets or Sega Fighters All-Stars.

100% co-sign. “One Man’s Trash” is still something that I’ll randomly push on people to watch. They brought back Scheer and Mantzoukas for the latest season and while it was grand, it wasn’t quite the same. I’m sure it wouldn’t have worked as well the second time, but I just wish they had done the exact same concept a

Bingo. Beautiful.

As much as I’d love this, I’m afraid we’ll only get one episode in full Gene mode, or at the most, a full “half season” if the final year is split into two.

They’re not going to make the line that INSPIRED the character to not actually be the character. That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jimmy and Nacho don’t share a single scene together this season. Their paths have increasingly diverged and in BB Saul could easily be trying to throw Nacho under the bus without

Nacho goes a LOT to do this season and I too am worried that it’s going to culminate in his death by the end of the year. I mean, it’s possible he gets out of the game and is upholstering with his dad somewhere in peace when Breaking Bad begins, but I kind of doubt it...

I mean, maybe the continuation of the scene shows Gene’s paranoia get the better of him and he foolishly decides to attack the driver. The character would be back and it would maybe explain why an established actor would take what’s currently a “bit part.” Who knows at this point though!

The scene obviously plays out in a way that you’re SUPPOSED to think that the driver is aware/after Gene. If it turned out that this was just paranoia and there was nothing suspicious about the driver, then it’d be an effective scene BECAUSE of this misdirection. The twist is that the driver IS a nobody, but it

I mean, I’m totally with you and I agree that the driver IS important, but the way the scene was shot (minus the lingering cab) still works if its purpose is just to show how rattled and paranoid Jimmy is. I don’t think he’s out of the woods yet, but I’d be fine if that was the case and this self-imposed perma-prison

This is a very good point. It COULD still be “within” BB’s timeline.

Oh Lord, MORDECAI. There’s another hate watch I need to make the time for. It’s truly baffling just how much of that film is about mustaches!

Honestly, I haven’t wanted to see a character crash and burn as much as S4 Rachel since S5 Walt from Breaking Bad. This last season for UnREAL was a tremendous gamble (which I think was mostly unsuccessful), but goddamn did I want to see Rachel destroyed by the end of it all. Seriously curious what Shiri Appleby

I mean, the “franchise” literally has a Chief Creative Officer. Outside of the MCU, what TV shows have a freaking CCO!? If that doesn’t say everything about how they view this property and that it will never end, I don’t know what does.

“It’s a LADY BALTIMORE cake...”

Seriously, the fact that Sabat sought out and used Drummond for this is proof enough of how wonderful he is and how much he “gets” the fandom. Schemmel on the other hand is a narcissistic egomaniac who feels threatened if another Goku voice actor is even at the same convention as he is. Wouldn’t it have been

Just to hear how stern and serious her response is while the guys are so jovial with their answers, too!

Bennett’s line delivery and nervous looks to the camera for solidarity were fucking perfect here. The singled out, “They smell like normal lamps to me!” was great, but his constant, strained, “Nooo, I go to the bathroom down the hallllll!” got me every time.

All I wanted here was a Vinni Vedici sketch or MAYBE a What Up With That? (since I consider that to be just as much of a Hader sketch as it is a Kenan one).

Now THIS is interesting.
