I mean, I totally loved this installment and the first glimpse of what the show REALLY is, but this is far from just some silly ‘80s caper.

And really, if you don’t pick up on this and the catharsis of the final scene, then there’s no point to this episode.

This is a great element from the game that I totally forgot about. I love that you could just re-do the fight after completion, like some Smash Bros. Melee/Virtua Fighter mash-up.

This season has a huge influx of female writers and directors and it’s VERY clear this year. This isn’t at all a bad thing, but it is an interesting shift this season. This episode heavily came down to males versus females, and the next two episodes are the “Female Reboot” of the “Boggs Episode”and a “Me Too”

I was going to bring up “The Gang Gets Evaluated.” I think that’s the truest bottle episode that they’ve done so far, minus this one.

For what it’s worth, she also writes the fourth episode of this season (which touches on the “Me Too” movement) and it’s ending is not dissimilar. That being said, I’m super happy that she’s responsible for two of the first four episodes of this season.

Gah, his complete breakdown at the end of the “Family Fight” episode is one of my absolute favorites. That episode doesn’t get enough credit.

That’s my takeaway. “We don’t care about ruining his set, so let’s have at it!” Whether you care about Ansari or not, this whole article is just crazy petty.

There’s a scene in the movie where Norton’s Banner goes to take a shower, and just the noise and intensity of the water from the showerhead hitting him gives him PTSD to bulletfire and enemy attacks. It’s a beautiful, tiny scene that I STILL think about. There’s another small moment where he’s just constantly

And it STILL blows my mind that in LucasArts’ “Day of the Tentacle” that you can literally sit down at a computer and play the original “Maniac Mansion” in its entirety. There was just a time in gaming when they didn’t care about giving you so much wonderful free content.

Also just wanted to say that Donkey Kong 64 had the right idea of this with their incorporation of the original Donkey Kong and Rare’s Jetpac, but their implementation of these titles and how they forced you to play them for 100% seriously ruined their enjoyment factor.

So happy that this process is still going on in Sega’s titles. I don’t think I’d have ever become a fan of the Space Harrier games if it wasn’t for my exposure to them through Shenmue’s arcade. I’d love it if Shenmue III kept this going and had the original Streets of Rage cabinets or Sega Fighters All-Stars.

100% co-sign. “One Man’s Trash” is still something that I’ll randomly push on people to watch. They brought back Scheer and Mantzoukas for the latest season and while it was grand, it wasn’t quite the same. I’m sure it wouldn’t have worked as well the second time, but I just wish they had done the exact same concept a

Bingo. Beautiful.

As much as I’d love this, I’m afraid we’ll only get one episode in full Gene mode, or at the most, a full “half season” if the final year is split into two.

They’re not going to make the line that INSPIRED the character to not actually be the character. That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jimmy and Nacho don’t share a single scene together this season. Their paths have increasingly diverged and in BB Saul could easily be trying to throw Nacho under the bus without

Nacho goes a LOT to do this season and I too am worried that it’s going to culminate in his death by the end of the year. I mean, it’s possible he gets out of the game and is upholstering with his dad somewhere in peace when Breaking Bad begins, but I kind of doubt it...

I mean, maybe the continuation of the scene shows Gene’s paranoia get the better of him and he foolishly decides to attack the driver. The character would be back and it would maybe explain why an established actor would take what’s currently a “bit part.” Who knows at this point though!

The scene obviously plays out in a way that you’re SUPPOSED to think that the driver is aware/after Gene. If it turned out that this was just paranoia and there was nothing suspicious about the driver, then it’d be an effective scene BECAUSE of this misdirection. The twist is that the driver IS a nobody, but it

I mean, I’m totally with you and I agree that the driver IS important, but the way the scene was shot (minus the lingering cab) still works if its purpose is just to show how rattled and paranoid Jimmy is. I don’t think he’s out of the woods yet, but I’d be fine if that was the case and this self-imposed perma-prison
