So many Joker gifs... but your comment really reads like something from CSI Miami... I can imagine David Caruso putting the glasses on right now...

I suspect people are doing it for the same reasons they do many things like this: Americans are deeply in love with feeling like they are doing something better, even if it isn’t necessarily better at all.
Satire is definitely dead. I hate that we’ve reached an intersection where satire and legitimate beliefs are the same thing. Seriously, go on /pol/ at some point, and tell me if those people are genuine, or just REALLY devoted to an inside joke. It is impossible to even separate anymore.
Im giving you some serious side-eye here, because you definitely know that government agents are enforcers of the elites.
I have shown you people within the United States using firearms, and threats of them, against government employees in protest of government action or inaction.
Rather than get bogged down in detail, I redirect you to the BLM activists who have used firearms against the police.
Not if you make more in the process.
I’m super mad at you for putting together a list of words like this, and while you managed to hit “plethora” and “synergy”, you somehow managed to miss “ROBUST”?! “Robust” is like the pinnacle of overused nonsense business talk.
Maybe. I’m not sure what the alcohol solution actually does. If the rats just fall into it and the alcohol immediately knocks them out before they drown, that seems humane(ish?). If they just straight up fall into and drown in a panic, then no, I suppose it isn’t very humane.
I suppose that depends on how you’re trying to kill them. If this system is supposed to drown them in alcohol and rat-carcass soup, it definitely seems the best way to achieve that. If this system was intended to electrocute them, decapitate them, or burn them, I’d argue it seems to be failing on all counts.
To identify as a feminist is, of course, to merely acknowledge that all people are equal but that society is currently inequal. It’s a fairly small ask and the word has been deeply politicized. It is frustrating to see Apple perpetuate the politicization of the word and use a tool, designed to sound like a helpful…
I just checked out an NPR article stating tourism to the Outer Banks Group of national park sites in 2015 resulted in a cumulative benefit to the state of $225.4 million.
How much does it cost to rebuild in the Outer Banks annually due to issues of location? If it is less than $225.4 million, it is more beneficial to…
It is painful to see how desperately egotistical this man is that he can’t just say “I misspoke and said it was going for Alabama, basing my comments off of an outdated projection. New projections show it going up the eastern shore. We’ll be monitoring the situation in Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and any other…
Sure it is. Any food or drink is competing with any other food or drink. When you walk into a grocery store, do you have unlimited money? No, you don’t, so choices have to be made in regards to where the money goes; you will buy some things, and you will forego other things.
None of that is really relevant though,…
I don’t understand the point of open carry. I’ve seen people doing it on occasion, and rather than think “Wow, that person looks super safe!”, the first thought that pops into my head is “An attentive shooter would be sure to kill that one first.”
I think you raise an interesting point about expectations of service. We go to McDonalds and expect five-star service, and are constantly disappointed because, at it turns out, when you pay people like garbage they’re less inclined to give a shit about doing their job well. In fact, there’s almost a direct correlation…
There are lots of drinks that contain corn syrup, what’s wrong with implying others use it?
I don’t get it... if Budweiser doesn’t use corn syrup, and the feel that’s worth mentioning, why exactly aren’t they allowed to put that on their package?
Basically this. The people arguing “these are temporary jobs for unskilled teenagers!” are so conflicted, it isn’t even funny. They insist these workers shouldn’t be paid more, but still expect to get great service, as if someone working in these places actually has any incentive or intent to work their way up in the…
Maybe the gloating is justified... did you ever stop to think maybe this guy’s relationship with rats is sort of a Liam Neeson in Taken scenario? Plot twist: rats kidnapped this guy’s daughter.
