Looks like a V8 being lifted out of an old school volvo :)

What does it even say? Your 'fake' annotation blocks the text behind it.

Looks like an Isuzu to me tbh

I used to have a G25 and compared to the Fanatec GT2 I now have, I remember the G25 would slam the wheel against full lock in a very masochistic fashion haha

I don't see why everyone finds this video so stupid. YES, it is very basic. BUT, this video is aimed at normal people, NOT car enthusiasts like the people on this site. Believe it or not, most people don't know that downshifting allows you to accelerate faster. Most who have selectable autos, never use/don't know how

I remember the hoffmeister kink always being referred to by BMW themselves as a design feature that's meant to tell everyone that the car is rear wheel drive and sporty.

The sodium filled lights are great IMO. Sure you might hate them now that they're everywhere but I bet you'll miss them when the LED conversion happens. The amber hue makes your eyes adjust to the light better and gives night time a distinct character. I generally don't hate LEDs: I love their use in cars, ambient

Missing the Mercedes M159 :(

It sure looks as an auto. Usually all manufacturers put the stick in neutral in the case of a manual for official interior pictures

What is this devil's evil contraption in the middle of the center console, please tell me a manual is still available :/

Ok, perhaps I exaggerated a bit there ;) You're right, the E60 was indeed a good car and tbh there was a time when I used to like it quite a lot, it's just that it's not very BMW: V10; dash not angled towards driver; weird (but wonderful especially in touring form) styling.

And now... the opposite end of the spectrum - a car that has become progressively worse with time. The BMW M5. The e28 was brilliant, the e34 was ok, the e39 was great and from then on it all went downhill very rapidly. What was once a great sedan which weighed only 1500kg, had very dynamic handling and a magnificent

E30 all day, 'ery day!! :D

Why only 6/10 for ride? As for handling, I think it deserves at least a 9/10. It's so well balanced and makes you feel so involved and connected that I don't see how it deserves any less.

Russia's very own prius seeking missile - a hell of a gift from secret santa for anyone driving a prius

I live in Europe and just bought myself a 1990 BMW 318is for the equivalent of $6000. Honestly, nothing beats it as a daily driver.

On a side note, I'd vote the S62B50 V8 engine in the e39 M5 as BMW's best all time engine. Overall my second favorite right after the M159 V8 in the SLS AMG

The E24 is a bit too high on the list, no? Like an e28 M5 but too heavy and lightness is one of the main reasons the e28 is so great. 1 series M coupe should be higher on that list for sure. The e92 should be higher too (only if fitted with manual trans) - that S65 v8 is wonderful :D

An e30 because that's the answer to most problems in life ;)
