AHHH! it hurts. never, ever, ever transcode video or audio between lossy formats more than you have to.

Another one i just thought of/remembered is running a webserver. I actually use my old G1 to run a piratebox file sharing server, and host actual HTML files on an ad-hoc wireless network.

true. if you have a 5mb/s download speed, your wifi can more than handle it. i disagree with the latency point, but to each his own.

they can not be plugged into any sort of power strip (according to the video - i don't actually know).
