Kind of strange that Loach seemed so defeated/annoyed by Fuches and Barry’s tearful reunion, since it is probably the best case scenario for Fuches ultimately getting Barry on tape saying incriminating stuff.

Yeah, IME “we haven’t had the conversation” is usually code for “we both know where the other stands but don’t agree, so we have an unspoken mutual agreement not to press it further”
Says who? Every Star Wars movie released in the Disney era has been PG-13. Every Marvel movie is PG-13.
I don’t see how just because the arresting officer has a gun pulled that somehow means you’re ethically or morally allowed to use lethal force to resist arrest despite being guilty.
The extent to which Barry playing to Gene’s ego to avoid doing the Afghanistan monologue worked so instantly and so completely was pretty hilarious to watch.
Either dead or in prison, yeah.
I thought the same thing, seemed incredibly sloppy for how precise and incredible Barry is supposed to be at his “calling” of being a hitman. Wouldn’t it have been way smarter for him to run off on foot and come get his car later so they couldn’t easily tie him to it?
That seems to be a very narrow definition of “evil,” I don’t think Barry is worried that he’s a sadistic serial killer - he knows he’s not Ted Bundy or whatever.
He probably actually looks younger though, seeing as he has access to modern medicine and skin-care products and isn’t a vagrant who lives in the desert.
Rebecca Bunch needs to think about her *entire life* before she goes on stage.
Very true!
My bet is that they do all of the following:
I feel like Electric Shoes would’ve been pretty great if it wasn’t effectively the same joke as the “What’s Up With That” sketch that they’ve done 1,000 times. I always enjoyed the hell out of What’s Up With That, but this just made me think “huh, Kenan wrote another sketch to do that same thing again...?”
The problem I’ve always had with them is that the call center person is always dressed differently and has their hair done differently than the person on the other end, and given it’s some actor you’ve never seen before for three seconds in a commercial it’s not very clear at a glance whether it’s supposed to be the…
“A moment’s notice” doesn’t really accurately describe a movie whose release date was announced months in advance, but I haven’t seen it yet either
Ah you’re right. I knew I was getting it wrong but it was late and I was too tired to bother looking it up. Thanks!
I think he gets by on a technicality with the spending limit since they didn’t actually go on the hot air balloon ride, it was ultimately no different than if he had spent fifty bucks on any random thing that didn’t wind up being related to the date.
My favorite gag had to be the revelation that Darrel carries a bag of Swedish Francs on his person at all times just incase the economy collapses while he’s out and about.
Safety Not Guaranteed notably also used in the header graphic but not included in the actual inventory
It’s a Disaster (2012) - with David Cross and Julia Styles, would fit well on this list too.
