RIP Nioh.
RIP Nioh.
Hmm, hard to say! I definitely don’t prefer it, but....*googles gameplay*...yeah, that goes a ways to making it more satisfying, but it still makes it feel so disjointed and un-immersive for me. I also prefer third person shooters to first, so this could just be some honed bias on my part.
Yeah, true. Those are the ones i’m interested in!
Yeah, I can’t stand first-person JRPG combat. It makes everything feel so unsatisfying imo. Maybe if I had played more of them growing up? As it stands, all the first person SMTs and Dragon Quests are a hard pass.
I’m going to keep it going and say Chie from Persona 4. About halfway through the game, I started reading her dialog faster and skipping it so that I wouldn’t have to hear her voice. Every line passed through me like a dementor’s kiss; like petting an animal backwards, against the grain, from tail to head; like a…
Yeah, they are basically all trash. All flash, no substance. Fodder for cosplayers and teenagers and little else. I did think Sazh was all right though.
Vanille (FFXIII for those unfamiliar.) After that, I would silence the person responsible for her creation.
Yeah, I don’t play Overwatch so who really cares what I think, but I always enjoy watching reveal videos and staying up to date on what’s going on with the game for some reason, and this is just a very bad character design.
I’ve gotta be honest: if the headline image were the only picture I had seen of this game (not an unlikely scenario if you’re just scrolling by), I would have no interest whatsoever in this awesome game. Very puzzling choice. I think Brawlhalla has awesome characters, which has been my biggest gripe about the Smash…
Although I enjoyed it, this game honestly just stressed me out. All I can remember is desperately trying to be in the right place at the right time to recruit someone, and failing to do so over and over. I legitimately can’t even remember the combat system—in my head, it’s just a recruitment simulator.
“The next painting from Vincent Van Gogh to be created with crayons. Looks colorful!”
Genesis is still such a STAGGERINGLY bad idea.
“Hey guys, remember the original soldier who was experimented/created in a lab that has super powers and eventually succumbs to madness due to what he’s gone through? Well now there’s an even originaler, superer soldier who goes even madder! And he’s modeled after a pop…
Agreed. Might as well be playing as a Minion. I don’t personally want to spend a single moment controlling the abominations I see in the top image. There are plenty of great games that won’t make me hate myself
People in Alabama still talk (positively) about your football review.
Agreed 100%. As a non-competitive player, a LARGE part of the draw is being able to play as recognizable players. I voiced this opinion earlier today, and a friend linked me to EXACTLY what you’re talking about. So much so, that it actually pisses me off that the Drifter is in this game, and not the one linked here:
It’s great, and well worth a JRPG fan’s time. It really feels like something that would have felt at home back in the golden days of JRPGs (the SNES and PSX eras) with some nice, newer trappings. If you were brought up in that world, you will love it. Newer RPG fans, however, that weren’t honed in that age, ones that…
Dear Little Orbit,
If your vision for the game looks anything like the images on the right, turn around! You’re heading in the wrong direction.
If it looks like the images on the left, you may continue with your audience’s blessing.
All right Little Orbot, all eyes are on you now. I’m guessing you guys were wanting a way to break into the type of gaming you are passionate about, and if you do a good job, you will get a loyal group of RPG devotees following your next move.
You are as funny as ever. Good work, looking forward to more! Are guys really sick in Japanese? We’ll find out!
Huh, I was under the impression that the multiplayer content they kept teasing was being able to play as the four dudes bro-op, then this came seemingly out of nowhere. Never would have suspected they’d go this route (maybe it’s a test for bro-op?)
