I’m actually really impressed with FFBE. I started playing it about two months ago just to check out the stellar pixel art animations I had seen GIFs of, knowing that I usually drop mobile games after about two days, but I’m still going strong. I never feel like I have to pay, and there’s so much to do. I also love

I’m a bit late to the party, so I doubt this will ever be read, but having just finished Persona 4 a month or so ago, I can objectively say that is has some of the worst music implementation of a major RPG, period. This says nothing about the quality of the actual tracks, which I find uneven at best, just it’s actual

I actually became distracted by how much I was enjoying the music. Anyone know what it’s from?

Ah, that’s a bummer. Game-specific achievements don’t really do anything for me; they lack that almost-MMO quality that trophy systems have. I may just play this game on the Wii U after all :p

Anyone know if the game/system has a trophy/achievement system? I can’t seem to find this information anywhere.

Ah, scratch that—found it on the “Press Kit” portion of their website. Definitely the same composer/composing team.

This looks great! It’s unfortunate that they are putting it on the wrong console first, but I can wait. Anyone know if Gordon McGladdery is doing the music for this one too? I can’t seem to find that info anywhere. I listen to the game audio podcast he co-hosts (Beards, Cats, and Indie Game Audio), but am still deep

Remove Vanille from this list, and from the earth.

These dudes never released Battleblock on a Playstation device, and now they’ve got even another new game? Very disappointing.

I wear skinny jeans/pants and carry my 3DSXL in my pocket all the time (when it makes sense.) It’s more surprising to me to think of people carrying bags/backpacks at all, but different lifestyles I suppose.

Looks like if Bert from Sesame Street were in Clayfighter 64.

I really hope negative/semi-negative articles like this don’t lessen our chances of getting more RPGs like this, when this is the exact sort of RPG we desperately need right now. Something that’s not overly expensive with terrible voice acting and writing, made by a small team that clearly share a vision and go after

I love this idea. Maybe now I can finally get a blue Dragonite that looks more like Dragonair. I've always been really resentful toward that goofy, smiling, inelegant bastard.

Blanche is definitely “the hot one.”

I’m just glad I’m not the only one who isn’t able to dodge or warp consistently.

How does it compare to popping bubblewrap though?

I'm surprised they didn't just shoot the fox after the kid climbed into its enclosure

Are there no transformations? That’s what Power Stone was all about for me, and I can’t tell from the video.

God DAMN that seal is bad. Maybe it’s shiny form will have a yellow collar.

So a really innovative, fresh RPG team is teaming with a painfully conservative and stale one. I hope this turns out better than it looks on paper to me
