Said it before, and I'll say it again: I will probably never play this game—not really a big fan of first person shooters of any sort—but I still pledged $15 because I AM a big fan of passionate people willing to put their asses on the line to do something different.

What you just explained is the difference between Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 & 3, and why I will always love the Mako sections, bad controls be damned.

I actually still haven't played this game, despite being gifted it a while back, simply because I want to use the blonde guy on the cover, and I think—without knowing anything about the story—that it's crazy that you don't get and keep him.

Thank God they decided to go with a fan favorite. I'm excited!

Yeah, as I said above, I am pretty disappointed in how my choices played out and desperately hope the Indoctrination Theory is correct. To copy and paste myself:

Agreed. I've been trying to spread the word about this video myself.

Now playing

Not sure if this video has made the rounds yet on Kotaku, but any fans feeling lukewarm-at-best about the ending (basically all of them. I literally don't know a single person who has beaten it IRL that wasn't at least a little disappointed) should check out this video.

Man, I have such fond memories of this game. I watched my big brother play the first Soul Reaver growing up, then I got around to playing the second one myself and LOVED it. I still remember the "history abhors a paradox" line right at the very end, despite having played it almost a decade ago.

Damn, those things get me all the time with just the right picture of an attractive celebrity or just enough side boob.

I usually try to keep some semblance of an open mind with this kind of stuff, but eh, fuck it, this (and the panda race as a whole) is the worst thing I'll see all day, and I'll probably see at least one car wreck.

I seriously do not see how these are possible without a stylus. I'm pretty good at art in general—not great, but good enough to be considered an "artist" at least—and I can barely draw a square in this app. That being said, it wouldn't take away from their impressiveness either way, considered the tools you have, lack

I don't have any children of my own, but there is a huge age gap between myself and my younger siblings (I'm 24, next oldest is 14, then 11, 9, 7, and 4), and I have helped watch them pretty much their whole lives. One of my favorite ages is when the kid will sit next to you and want to play, but being the cunning lad

I'm a little confused about one point; is that guy saying that XII's GAMEPLAY made him rage or the writing? I understand the gameplay is polarizing, but the writing is literally the best in the whole number series without any real competitor. I'm not saying it's the best by any means, just that it's the only one that

The truth of the matter is that the "femshep" players have always and will always be one of those internet niche groups—and there is nothing wrong with that.

Well yeah, the concept is similar, but the difference in the amounts here is massive though. Again, I don't know exactly how much the average game dev makes, but I'm guessing at least in the 40-50k zone, with maybe a bonus of a few grand as the "tip". Literally 99.9% of my income as a backwaiter (food runner) are

It's definitely kind of an odd system; not how it got started. I will say though, I think there would be a pretty big dropoff in quality if that happened. I'm not a server myself, but the amount of shit the average server goes through on a daily basis is not worth minimum wage in my opinion.

I honestly just rambled for way too long about something that doesn't really matter. Sorry about that, I kind of lost the plot halfway through.

Working in a restaurant, I don't know if that's the best analog here, since a waiter's tips are basically his entire wage, and thus why they are important. Servers typically make about $2.15 an hour where I work, and regularly get checks that say "THIS IS NOT A CHECK" because it's not worth any actual money after

Trust me brother, I feel you there. But it is luxury compared to say, Ramen, or a turkey sandwich.

I'm not big on shooters and will likely never play this...
