I disagree, actually; I think there are a lot of great, really inspired new Pokemon this time around, as well as some REALLY bad ones that really aren't much worse than Jynx and Mr. Mime.

Wow, these are great! I usually feel like the artists try too hard to make it disgusting or shocking in projects like this, but I really feel like these have a consistent, working aesthetic that could actually be applied to a game, even if it's not a Mario one.
