Bummer, I was pretty interested in playing this one.

Ah man, I hope this isn't one of those weirdo weeaboo games that embarrasses me too much to actually play. The screenshots so far seem aimed way more at teenagers than actual "adults"
@Azriel77: I can't stand it when characters don't talk, personally. I think it's a cop-out, unless they give you TONS of choice, which most games with silent protagonists don't. To me, wearing a smile while I go grab a jub of milk from the store for a random NPC is more immersion-jarring than a character having a…
I hope to god he doesn't lose his boosting ability after this bit as a ploy to not have to write more scenarios where you do awesome shit like that again. I could easily see that being the case.
@catokeeffe001: Fair enough. Lost Odyssey happened so long ago that I barely remember it, though you know the old saying,"You forget what people say, you forget what people do, but you never forget how people make you feel". One thing I do distinctly remember was the horrible, 1-dimensional villain. Though, as I said,…
God damn was this movie ever good. If you are a gamer and you think you "won't like it", then you're wrong. Stop being a bitch and go see it.
@opiate46: Don't get me wrong, "loopy directors" does not mean "bad". Directors are directors. My point was that there is a reason why movies and many successful games hire real, honest-to-shit writers who usually have multiple version of the script done by different people before it is considered done.
@yanipheonu: Wow.....oh wow.
@opiate46: The script was great. It said much more with much fewer words, especially which juxtaposed to the decidedly Japanese knack for drowning you in meaningless exposition.
Vanille single-handedly brought this game down a notch for me; A game that was already a sinking ship.
@Perfec7: Fair enough. I was under the impression that this was a movie that was a guaranteed hit with all gamers, but I guess there are exceptions. I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard in a movie though, and I saw The Other Guys in the same week, an actual "comedy".
@Perfec7: Why? Did you dislike it that much? It's really an incredible movie and just astoundingly original; something I can rarely say these days.
@BoxOfScraps: That's fair. But as someone who has never, ever done anything involving Warhammer, I have always thought the marines with the helmets on looked really badass.

@JGab: K.O.
Call me shallow, but I would be a little more stoked if that guy would put a fucking helmet on and leave it on. Not a fan of the huge-body-tiny-head look, compounded with the appropriate-but-terribly-dull-marine look.
Someone please tell Kamari he is in the wrong game. He needs to get back in line with the other FF characters waiting for a sequel or cheap cameo.
@LordMaim: Gotta go with Nathan Fillion. I refuse to believe Drake wasn't at least partially inspired by his role in Firefly/Serenity.
I would say that the Katamari games have some of the funniest gameplay on the scene right now.
Oh wow, I am impressed that that Ryu can channel Sam Worthington.
