@(Santa) Goldwings: hahahahaha, probably the American cover.

I love Final Fantasy (band) and the games, so this bums me out a little bit, though this feeling will pass when he finally puts out another album.
@Luis Garcia Ramirez: Eh, it pretty much just sounded like the last time my girlfriend raged on me. I think there just might be a whole subculture of people that you're not familiar with, something that can be said of everyone.
@Luis Garcia Ramirez: No, it was far more realistic than what I am used to in video games.
So, do we know yet whether this game is split screen or not? I really hope that it is—my friends and I refuse to game multiplayer otherwise.
@Levo: I actually don't see any reason why it wouldn't or couldn't be.
@Conanthecanadian: Dude...I loved Star Ocean 2 for sure, but it had some of the worst voice acting of all time, literally.
@CommentatorHatman: While you definitely have a point, I can't think of that point-of-view being valid for anyone who is JUST a consumer.
@VEX: Agreed on 2007, definitely. That is the year that I got my first "next gen" console because of Halo 3 and Mass Effect (mostly Mass Effect)
Hm, I can't speak for everyone else, but whenever I thought of the phrase "Year of the PS3", I never once thought about it from a sales perspective, as we are consumers, so we do not care.
Would you wrap your damn presents already.
Man, this sounds great. I'm crossing my fingers.
So, is it safe to assume that we'll be a forgettable mute among a group of reasonably likable characters with distinct personalities like in ODST?
@wintersault: I actually think they ALL look cooler than Masterchief, but that's just me. Thought that about the ODSTs too.
@Hi-Im-Asylum: While that is a legitimate concern, I'm not worried about it just because I've seen other games/movies struggle with this recently with amazing results.
@Foxstar is in love with Kotaku's two Brians.: Yeah, so it goes.
If that fucking Pikachu doesn't evolve already...
@reno84: I've actually got to heart you for that one—calling me out in a constructive way without being a dick. And because Reno is the man.
@Teecee: Careful what you wish for. Ever heard of the Eiffel tower? ;)
@Zunnoab: To clarify, I wasn't saying that the merits of PC games past are irrelevant. That bit in my rant was aimed at the type of people who say things such as "Halo sucks, PC shooters have been better than that for years", which is true. But, like Halo's hype, it's not Bungie's fault that people think this way.
