@DragonDawn85: Don't get me wrong, I am not aiming this at people who just don't like Halo. I definitely agree that the series needed some rejuvenation and also believe that ODST delivered this.

@reno84: Hey, ya' know, what can I say? You got me there. As a musician, musical snootiness just kind of comes with the territory a lot of the time.
@343winks: Oh, I definitely think that Halo gets blown out of proportion a lot, don't get me wrong. But I guess what I'm getting at is that some very vocal people hate it for that, but that isn't Halo's fault at all.
I'm too tired to actually do it, so just pretend like this post is a really good joke involving the headline, Daniel Day-lewis, and milkshakes.
@LordThayer: Having said that, there is no fucking way this game will touch FF XIII, GOD 3, the Last Guardian, or Mass Effect.
God, it sickens me how gamers turn into pretentious fucks when it comes to Halo.
Wait, had this Pirates DLC been outed before, and I just missed it? That is an interesting and unpredictable theme to go with, though I guess pretty fitting for the water update.
@Luis Garcia Ramirez: I'll definitely give you that Uncharted 2 is the big one here. Without it, this would be more debatable for sure.
@LordThayer: inFamous, Killzone 2, Ratchet and Clank, and Fat Princess are obviously worth noting, but my 3 favorites of the year are Flower, Demon's Souls, and (obviously) Uncharted 2.
I honestly and truly did not know that this was even in question. Of COURSE the PS3 had the best games this year. To think otherwise is the equivalent of plugging your ears with your fingers, whilst chanting "lalalalala can't hear youuuuu"
@BacteriaEP: Demon's Souls was amazing, but I think talk like this is only due to the nature of humans to want to promote things that they feel are under appreciated.
@Marios_shadow: Hey, I am sure he is beyond talent. In fact, I DID say a "very TALENTED kid with Down's Syndrome"
@CaptJapan: Am I missing a joke here?
@Ryan_the_D: Oh lord, I absolutely despise Amano's work. It has always looked like a very talented kid with Down's Syndrome to me, and none of the characters he draws ever look ANYTHING like the concepts. Not to mention he always draws some kind of flying bullshit to accompany just about everything.
@maelstromALPHA: For me, that won't be enough. The last thing I want to do is try and get back into a battle that I've already spent time on 6 hours later and think to myself,"Okay.....what the fuck is going on?"
@NinjaXYZ: Definitely. Even if not checkpoints, if they could at least take you back to the edge where you drove off Mariokart style, that would be a huge help.
The amount of time that I spent playing each battle in the PS3 version lets me know that, unless the sequel has a more portable-friendly take to battles, I will be avoiding this one.
@Awesomah Powah!: Indeed there would be. Fortunately the industry wised up long ago, so we don't have to worry about such dark times falling upon us again.
@astidcrisse: As are the days where you have to watch an entire movie just to get to the part you want to watch.
Just make it to where, if I drive off of a cliff, it takes me back to said cliff instead of taking me back to the last checkpoint. This is 21st century after all, so it is kind of ridiculous to have to ask for this, but here I am. Especially considering that this silly oversight conflicts completely and utterly…
