I hate the DLC model in all its forms, non-downloadable or otherwise.

Yes, constructing puppets and props and clothes by hand is very different from modeling in a computer, but both require a huge amount of time and work to be done well. My point wasn't that stop-motion and CGI look the same, or that the models are constructed the same. My point was that too many people dismiss CGI

Damn, that's good

I used to think like you, but the fact of the matter is that feature-CGI animation is almost exactly like stop-motion. A CG model is much like a puppet with hundreds of controls— every frame is posed. Takes just as much time and effort to produce. "Lousy plot and canned humor" are a writing problem.

Haaaaa

I was actually given a second-hand copy of this CD within the last year— I've listened to it at work, but I haven't paid close attention. It's nice n' relaxing either way.

My Physics teacher in high school taught us how to make these, and made them an extra credit project. I didn't end up making one, but we took time out of a class one day to let all who built one to demonstrate their firepower. In the following years, when we heard dull explosions while inside some other classroom,

Pft, I put up a new Back to the Future poster in my room in 2007.

Though I kinda think of it anyway at random, as evidenced here

I'm glad to have Saturday off, but that also means that I never have a particularly appropriate time to think of the image.

"Now Luke, did you know you are my very best friend"

Luke's resistance notwithstanding, it's a pony party now!

Pretty much every single thing by Headless Productions is pure gold. This trailer for a never-made movie is super great and I WANT IT TO BE MADE.

"Learn knew words" —-> "learn new words"

"Oh in case I don't see ya: May the odds be ever in your favor!"

I would say "Find a better word than 'boring,'" but then you wouldn't have much of a headline. Oh well, the point you make is valid.

Is that just a nub you strap to your thumb so your thumb can act as the stylus? 'Cause that really is a pretty damn good idea.

This looks like certain kinds of artwork inspired by games— the pixely faux-retro pictures where all sorts of things are happening at once because the artist knew it'd be a static image you could study for as long as you want.
