I just think it's funny that they claim to explore the "realism" of the story when they keep that part intact.

If they're so confident that DLC (particularly on day one) isn't as evil as everyone says it is, you know what would help their case? Transparency. What do the actual producers say, then? Let them justify the DLC's existence.
