We are far from perfect as a nation but damn if stories like this don’t make me feel proud to be a canuck. We’re funny, polite and honest. All good qualities to have.

And those are usually the same people who rant about immigrants. They don’t seem to understand how population growth works lol
YIKES! Americans are bloody barbaric!
The worst part of this story is the horrible lack of maternity leave in a supposedly First-World country.
Don’t forget all his foreskin relics. That thing must have been huge!
Still a better love story than 50 Shades
Personally I think the reality is far worse. If you are in a coma, as far as I know, you aren’t really aware. Given her disabilities, she is awake, aware and has the mental capacity of a toddler.
I know this is probably a stupid idea because of the various sizes of strollers and wheelchairs but these would be a nice solution.

Holy shit. I am so glad I am Canadian. My whole process was make the appointment, they fit me in 5 days later (including a weekend), quick counselling session to make sure I wasn’t being pressured and knew what I was doing, I was out in two hours and went to my GP for the follow up a week later. Total cost: $5 for…
I don’t disagree with your point about celebrity worship but Stan Lee was so much more than that to a lot of people. I know a few who truly feel that his comics saved their lives as kids/teens.
I think I might just try a sweet potato pie this year. I’ve never had it and it’s too late for Thanksgiving (I’m Canadian) but we still have Le Reveillon coming and this would be something different to go with the tourtiere.
