DancesWithRotors - Driving Insightfully

Admittedly, I am a guy... I drive, depending on the day, either a 1981 Fiat Spider or a 2013 Mazda3, both with a manual. I don't drive either for the style, but because they're fun, and make me grin.

There's an exit on I-85, just before you get to the AL state line that has nothing but one podunk gas station and looks like it's on the set of Deliverance... At least, it was that way when I drove through in '09.

Fucking on the hood and/or roof works quite well on any RWD Volvo... But, if you have one of those, you've probably got a wagon, so why not just have a twin-size mattress in the back to fuck on?

My mother drove one, right up until it saved my brother's life in October, when he ran off the road doing 50+ and landed nose-first in an embankment. Totaled the car, but he walked away without a scratch. It was an awesome little car.

One other good reason for new: I get Mazda S-plan pricing due to who I work for. I also get 1% below invoice, plus any applicable consumer incentives for any Fiat/Chrysler products.

Now playing

The 2.0 Skyactiv in the Mazda3 isn't bad, if you cut the big-ass stock muffler off.

Didn't the 1ZZ have some oil consumption issues?
