true story, I'd definitely have to have a test drive first... Or at least a handful of reviews from professional reviewers, and a whole crapton of amazon reviews by actual customers.

Turn them sideways. Put 2 side by side. Voila. Legal document readers.

What about using 2 of these things? Then angle them slightly, and presto! You have yourself lots of horizontal screen space.

I like that it isn't a huge leap into some other obscure logo. It is similar enough to the predecessor that you will keep the association with the old logo... Pays tribute in a way. Logos don't necessarily excite me, but my wife does make good money designing them.

I did this when I first got a cell phone in 2004. It was odd. I had a dumb phone, and kept it on vibrate. Had it in my left front pocket all the time... Then it started happening. Phantom Vibrations. Unexplainable, I thought I was sure I felt the thing buzzing in my pocket. But it never was. I've finally overcome the

Saw this just now... Legit right?

I played with every tv I saw as much as I could. I think WalMart, Best Buy, Target, HH Gregg, BJ's, and the local TV/electronics store were getting tired of me futzing with their tv settings. Again, it came down to price and best quality, most bang for the buck.

I actually don't have much, if any, blooming on my tv. Check this review out on cnet: http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/vizio-sv472xvt/4505-6482_7-33770095.html

sounds like a horror movie... "What?! You lost your ability to lose the jack-in-the-box who kills people when it opens??? How is that possible?" -LameHorrorMovie2012

No harm no foul. I won't crucify you like other lovely users here. Just genuinely curious if I was missing a reference to some movie/show/magazine/politician.

I think you mean... Mom.

It took some time, but I've finally acquired the skills to use the kinect efficiently. My hint, don't try to wave your hands to make it do stuff. Just talk to it. Its nice because I can use it in the next room to skip tracks by hollaring over to it "xbox Next song".

wait... what? "...potentially lose the ability to lose certain devices..." was that a funny or just a braincramp? I'm not sure if I'm s'posed to laugh or substitute the word sell for the second lose.

1024 KB = 1 Men in Black.

When I look at online reviews my rule of thumbe is to discard all of the bottom reviews, and an equal number of the top reviews. Then I will see how the results lean. I would hope there to be more 4/4.5 than 1.5/2 star ratings for any product I am interested in.

True that. I just read that my TV was on its way out (as far as being current etc...). Which I totally get, but isn't it a sad world where TVs used to last 10 years, and thats what you expected of them, now we're happy if they give us 2 good years. I'm just hoping that my TV does as well as my parents 5 year old

+1 This. Seriously. Its like saying "Hey guys Mel Gibson is making another movie! Its probably trash because he is a jerk." This assumption may be true, but if you live like that then you have no grace or hope for redemption for something that may have previously failed.

LEDs don't crack 10,000:1. But this isn't an LED tv. It has an LCD panel with LED backlight. Why? Because LED's are way more efficient and not nearly as hot as a typical LCD backlit screen (I guess they use halogen bulbs? Not sure). Realistically 600Hz =240Hz for the human, because your eyes only see 120Hz. So

Actually, just on the LCD alone it would be listed at 100,000:1. But I watch lots of sci-fi, and The stars look great against a dark black. My samsung monitor has smart dimming, and I absolutely hate it. Its not done well. But this TV is something of beauty, honestly, you can hardly notice ANY bad results of dimming

Like I said, I did my research and I will say that it beats every plasma tv I've seen. But to be completely honest, the price point won in the end. That was the deal right there.
