I bought the Zune HD 32 GB model the first week of production. I beat the living snot out of that thing, and it still works well except for the screen having some defunct pixels at the top. I can buy a replacement screen for 60 dollars and reclaim a perfectly good working Zune HD.

I totally agree. Watching the video it seems like there aren't many intuitive motions. and it might be too sensitive, unless you have to hold a button down to activate motion sensitivity.

I could see this as a good idea... Lets say you're sitting in the dark, and you can't see the remote to know where the desired button is. Grab this sucker and flick it in the motion you desire to have the same results of pressing the button you can't see.
