I do hate Apple. Apple has used a level of arrogance in the way they talk and a better-than-thou marketing scheme to get where they are (see Mac vs PC ads). People will see through the arrogance, and be fed up with supporting a company that acts like a selfish 2 year old.
Kudos to this guy, who unfortunately died from his handiwork, but he was able to build something we all wish that we had the courage to build... A Hovercraft. We salute you and your go-get 'em attitude, may you rest in peace.
He was probably disappointed that it was an iPod in the first place. Or maybe for the fact that leaving the iPod is a symbol of how hackers get in (through people who aren't conscious of where they leave their stuff, including items with passwords on them)
Those tables never knew what clicked them...
Exactly.
Planking in awkward places eventually turns to mooning in awkward place. I'm starting to believe we really did come from monkeys and that our evolutionary process will take use right back to monkey-like behaviour.
I have the HTC Trophy from Verizon, I was initially disappointed at the stats pre-release, but when I got the only WP7 device (from Verizon) in my hands, that opinion changed... It is very nicely tuned and the WP7 environment runs INCREDIBLE! I get a rare chance to have hands on many many phones through my work, and…
I do know about the 2nd gen 120 GB model... You're probably right though. I thought for sure I saw a 120+ GB HD advertised somewhere. Probably was someone incorrectly labeling a 2nd gen Zune on Amazon or ebay.
Seemed more like a social experiment to jump from multiple different topics to prove a point about watching a movie (or tv show, or any other activity) and multitasking with our connected devices. Which, I love modern day technology. Its all great. But it isn't life. Work isn't life. Appreciating the beauty of each…
I definitely love my Zune HD. I bought the 32 GB one when it first released (upgrading from the first gen 30 GB Zune... that thing was huge... literally) and loved it from day 1. Great interface, great audio, simple stripped down direct approach to being music centric. I then discovered Zune pass (which is still…
I tend to do a flat rate charge for any solution. I'd say 50 dollars to take the computer and fix it. Whether that means virus removal, or reinstalling the OS. Any hardware I replace I charge for the exact price of the hardware, no markups or extra dollars for me to earn. I don't really run it as a business, but I…
Ahhhh... Nothing like the smell of burnt poop in the morning!
People tend to forget that in the age of the internet, Flash filled in quite a big hole of interactive websites. Because of flash we found websites that would dynamically load different variables (games, pictures, music) without having to reload the entire page. So don't go burning your bridges before you cross over…
it is definitely the mini display port, but I swear that the connectors are the same... Looking at these diagrams of the thunderbolt interface and knowing what my computer has, they look exactly alike. I just think it would be weird to use that interface for more than just 1 format. Kinda make things confusing a…
I've had this same connector on the back of my Dell computer for the past 3 months. I've used it to feed video to a projector. Could I do other things with this port? I've even used the Apple dongle (which is the same as my Dell dongle) to connect with VGA to said projector.
and adding a super-imposed unicorn... And sasquatch.
or send a naked picture of yourself with the cardboard cut-out of them naked in the backseat of your car parked in front of their house.
I wonder what the stats are on phones that died because of the following:
or they use Macs in movies because lots of film-makers use Macs as to do their work with editing footage, CGI, FX, etc... So, when you're shooting a film and you need a prop, go ahead and grab one from the inventory. Live Free or Die Hard (Die Hard 4 to some people) used Alienware computers for their sets... And I'd…
