“There is an essential metal firewall welded in place behind the rear seat making the seat useable but mainly for show.”

Oh man! I can’t believe I didn’t know this was happening. It’s like they made an album with me in mind. I’m super stoked to hear this album. I loved II, dig Albini’s aesthetic, and have a lot of neighborhood pride for Electrical Audio.

This is early hardcore Christmas at my house.

Looking forward to this one. Metz is one of my favorite bands to come out in the past few years.

The entire site is but a sad shell of it’s former self.

Thank you for playing. Have a nice day. Be sure to pick up your participation award on the way out.

GODDAMMIT!!!!!!!!!

If my ancestors had been enslaved for hundreds of years, later freed but oppressed, and later legally granted rights but still oppressed by a system of institutionalized racism, I wouldn’t think I was being overly sensitive.

Once Payne and his superior who pushed him are fired and unable to find another job, then I’ll believe in that “goodness of society”.

Anyone else wanna write Peter Stormare a letter now?

In that era of Seinfeld, I wonder how many Fargo references they would’ve shoehorned into their scenes.

He’s completely channeling Timothy Carey in The Brothers Grimm. Astonishing actor.

Because they are people.

The blue wave was apparent up and down the ballot on a banner night for the county’s Democrats.

Yeah I’m a UX person so I’ve spent the past 24 hours wincing. The comment system is obviously unusable, but this system of content org doesn’t work for me either; I need clear structure & visual hierarchy.

I’m in IT and if I were responsible for sourcing and migrating to a new system that was literally a step back from the existing technology and riddled with issues post-migration, I’d be fired.

I’ll try my best to stick it out and see how it goes, but I’m not optimistic. I’ve been reading Jalopnik for years and somehow they keep finding ways to make the Kinja sites worse instead of better. And that content is as well-suited to a blog-style format as the AV Club is not.
