There are two big reason we won’t see SSTAR reactors gain traction: 1) people are scared of nuclear power, even though it has the potential to be safe and environmentally friendly (environmentally friendly is in part related to the type or reactor being used, which goes to the second point). 2) Fears of nuclear

Isn’t this almost exactly what antitrust laws are designed to prevent? This seems to fit the whole monopolistic bent of the Sherman Act. Buying the only competitor and then doubling rates, seems a bit to nail-on-the-head.

Hey, if you like putting your nose in other men’s asses, that’s your business. I’m not here to kink shame.

See now, all you would have had to say, if you weren’t racist is, “That wasn’t what I meant.” Instead, you decided to double down and just prove you’re a douchebag.

To quote you, “Small dicks is what they were designed around.” That’s racist.

Your additional statement of “Seats that don’t completely suck would be nice too, but that is such a Japanese thing that I have no hope for any improvement there.” Is also racist.

But please, dispute your own writing.

It’s almost like manufacturing costs aren’t what’s making prices of vehicles so high.

Ya know, you might want to look at a cyber truck. The CEO is a blatant racist too.

The Fit is garbage (at least any that are/were above the snow belt). I’ve known multiple people with them and they all rusted out or fell apart. Absolutely garbage.

Game developers more than anyone in the tech sector should unionize. This shit has been going on for decades.

If a vehicle I purchase comes with hardware installed, I’m damn sure going to look for 3rd party solutions to access said hardware. I didn’t buy a subscription to a physical product.

Same, I was all set to write some angry tirade and everything I wanted to say is already in the comments.

Wait, so if I stack 3 trashcans on top of each other I can call myself a rocket company now?

Uhh,

Its more an issue with rail right of way ownership and land rights (I know this is an oversimplification). No one wants to risk using eminent domain for a common good.

Ok, but come on. This is NYC we’re talking about. Half the fun is knowing you’re risking your life going in. ADA compliant stations? Ha! Rats that eat better than 20% of New Yorkers? Yup. Screaming people who need psychiatric help? Pick a station! A G line that everyone knows doesn’t really exist? The G is for Ghost

I’m hoping they start inforcing the 6000 lb limit on the Brooklyn bridge and start ticketing every overweight EV.

Hell, this year winter in MN has been like a summer in San Francisco.

bump for #1. I switched from a 3rd gen to a 2nd gen tacoma and I like the motor so much better (even though they’re both NA, the extra displacement off road is noticeable to me). I’m nervous about the turbo engine’s lag, especially with an auto. But what do I know.

Oh totally. I think it’ll be a while before prod/dev is replaced. Having said that, I know a number of people using GPT to write basic python scripts for simple things. Are they elegant? I doubt it.

New projects / products are by default going to be more difficult for these AI systems to generate well. However, the

Of course it’s meant to replace headcount. The same thing happened in manufacturing with robots. It doesn’t mean all jobs go away, but the roles that involve repeating tasks, or repeating similar tasks, will.

I expect there will be more talk about unionizing software developers in the near future.
