This reminds me of an outfit my older cousin worked for years ago. The organization owned a glass company, and a glass insurance company. Wouldn’t you know it, they ran around town selling the glass insurance and if you didn’t buy it, your windows were mysteriously broken.

I really hope the Grand Sport gets a NA flat plane DOHC engine.

You still have a partner company in China, however your company is incorporated in a nearby country whose IP laws are respected by China. Additionally, the partner company in China is just a manufacturing facility, where you control the hiring, management, development, and production.

There are ways to create corporate structures that do not require the hand over of ‘trade secrets’ in the form of IP to Chinese partner companies. God I want that.

Automatic star for mention of Deming.

Heh, ok so just a shithole, no longer dangerous.

Except for South Boston. That place is still a dangerous shithole.

Where do people find these parts laying around? A $50 complete Camaro body? An H1 undercarriage? I’m lucky to find a rusted out 2 door '99 Subaru 2.5RS for $2k.

Dammit you beat me to it, and I didn’t look far enough through the thread first. Well played.

After reading through all the comments, I love that a Corvette has people discussing issues of break-over.

Now they just need it in the back, and the ability to run 15" steelies with 70 series tires. Then I’ll be all set for the roads around Manhattan.
