If the autonomous vehicle is able to drive consistently and obey traffic laws, I have limited concern. Hell, most people can’t do that. I really don’t know. Part of me wonders if they designed the FB to be specifically 2 liters, and can’t increase the capacity to 2.5 without major rework. It would explain why the WRX is making great power, but haven’t gone for a larger displacement, the way they did with the first gen STi vs WRX.

Really we just want Subaru to give the STi a power bump that it hasn’t seen in over a decade.
