That’s too rational! Get out of here with that!

Yeah, I was way wrong about trampolines.
That’s exactly my point. We agree 100%.
If you act like a hostile jerk without provocation and it gets called it out, that’s not “tone policing.”
But there are not “zero rewards.”
I agree there’s no benefit to having a gun in the home, but that was never the argument I was making.
Sorry. Maybe I should have joined in the game of Fuck, Marry, Kill you girls were playing on Jezebel, this weekend?
If we were talking about encounters with a gun vs. encounters with a pool, you’d have a point about exposure (albeit a nastily expressed one) and agree; it’s far riskier to be around a gun than pool.
I’m ignoring suicides and homicides because the entire conversation is about the risk of letting your kid play at the home of a gun-owner.
From the CDC: Unintentional drownings are a leading cause of death in most pediatric age groups, while firearms accidents don’t even show up, except “last place” for one age group.
I’m not a gun owner. As I’ve said elsewhere in this thread, I’d be happy if all guns were banned.
Jesus. This is an unpleasant side of you.
Thanks for typing slowly. Your patience and condescension is truly appreciated, however, you’re still missing the point.
No, they’re not.
But then he went home and titty-fucked Kate Upton, so . . . win some, lose some.
That’s not true. The only time I’ve ever used guns was to shoot targets or skeet.
I agree the ban on CDC gun research is stupid, but there’s plenty of data out there to answer the question since the CDC isn’t the only organization that does research or collects data.
Sure, but what does that have to do with the discussion we were having?
Why would gun ownership be such a personal subject? It’s not like asking, “do you keep any studded dildos in the house?”
