After a certain amount of not interacting with the chat window, doesn't it ask you "Are you still there?"? I've had that happen, and it just kicked me from the hangout when I didn't answer.

Love is also the ultimate source of pain. But this is cool nonetheless.

Quick question as to what are some of the apps in your taskbar/dock if you don't mind. More specifically, what's the Windows app whose icon is a key with a spaceship (?) on it? Also, what are apps 6 and 10 on your dock? Thanks in advance!

I can't find anywhere where it says what version of android this actually is. It is Gingerbread, right?

I'm almost positive most distros do not want you to edit grub.cfg (for GRUB2) directly. You should include the new parameters in a script in /etc/grub.d/, or /etc/default/grub, and use the update-grub utility.

I use UxStyle myself, just because you don't actually patch any files with it. (As opposed to something like Universal Theme Patcher)

Couldn't one just use an SSD that supports TRIM, and not have to worry about this problem?

Now if only the trackpad on my main laptop wasn't Alps... well, maybe I'll try it out on my Cr48. Looks cool.

I have a Captivate. I just use a custom ROM, and installed MarketAccess. From there you can emulate a T-Mobile SIM which completely opens up the market.

Anything with a decent active digitizer. So far, to my knowledge, only the HP Slate 500 has one, but it's Ntrig. I'd prefer Wacom. If any tablet manufacturer figures this one out, I'd buy it.

@dragon:ONE: I posted my instructions a bit earlier, at 7:22PM the same day.

@Pripyat: There was nothing that said you *couldn't* install other OS's. You just had to agree to provide feedback, which I have.

Oh, cool.

My new year's resolution is 1920x1080.

I've been using LCD Density Changer, which also seems to work, maybe a little bit better...

Why are all of these set up for parallel viewing? Cross-eyed viewing is significantly easier.

Oh, this is pretty cool. I've just been poking around the plists... didn't know you could do this. Thanks!

Great guide, once again Whitson. Have you tried making a separate partition for home, and mounting it as /home in linux and /Users in Mac OS? Or something similar? Are there problems with user configuration files/dot files?

My second network on my dual-band router is called "Aperture Science Labs", and the password is "cjohnson:tier3".
