Worst thing about linux gaming:

Have you ever seen Food, Inc?

@Whitson Gordon: Ah, okay. Good to know. Whatever, I've always kept OS X on a separate drive, and dual booted Windows and Linux from an extra one. Keeps things simple and neat. Things will surely get complicated once BIOS completely dies, and everyone switches to UEFI and GPT disks... :-\

@Whitson Gordon: Yep, no problem. In my experience, there should be no problems with OS X on an MBR disk. OS X doesn't even use the EFI partition.

@Whitson Gordon: You can actually do that. You just need to image the OS X disc image onto a flash drive, then download an OSInstall patch, like this here:

Very good guide. I think you're missing something though: wouldn't the Windows bootloader be in the MBR? Don't you need Chameleon in the MBR? Maybe I'm missing something.

@Whitson Gordon: I would have to agree. Current rolling release distributions, like Arch and Gentoo, are focused more towards the savvy user who is expected to administer their own system themselves (more or less). Ubuntu, on the other hand, is really for people that just want to use their computer. If Ubuntu

I really like this Burg. I might even replace Chameleon (which is my current default bootloader) with it. I understand that GRUB2 (and Burg) can boot OS X also (source: [www.insanelymac.com] Or can I just chainload Chameleon? I'm going to look into this.

What happened to the Aria? It's free Android goodness on AT&T.

MobileAP here. Why use anything else?

That Macbook looks pretty dirty... and what about that brown under the trackpad? Is that rust?

"Adium 1.4 is a free download for Mac (1.5 and later) systems only."

Handbrake rips DVDs too, and is free always.

LauncherPro also lets your edit the rows/columns.

When I was little, I got shown around by a pilot one time. He showed me this neat little trick. It made me happy.

@freedomweasel: While most people would use the root account using 'su' (on other distros) if they were not using sudo, it is not at all customary to run as root at all times. That almost nobody does.

@kellanpan: No. It's extremely discouraged to run as root at all times. The only time most people are logged in as root is when they are installing/configuring a system.

@dolambert: Yes, please modify the article to reflect this.

"The right side of the keypad includes a not-so-sensitive touchpad, while the right rests your thumb on a traditional d-pad."

I think you mean 10^123 and 10^224.
