I can confirm with a Galaxy Nexus... just updated yesterday. Truly bizarre.

I have a Galaxy Nexus and I'm not sure what everyone saying "free tether" is talking about... I'm on AT&T and have never had a problem using the built-in tethering.

Even worse than all this, I think, is that mobile carriers have capped data plans, most at something like 2GB. What kind of music streaming can you do with that kind of data limit?

I can't imagine how awesome this will be once Steam Big Picture Mode gets released.

What was you regular, day-to-day battery life like?

Great guide! It's really unfortunate that most linux distros have a hard time with some of the newer Macs, especially the new 2012 models. Surely they'll be fixed in time. I'd also suggest checking out rEFInd (http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/) instead of rEFIt. I haven't used it on a Mac yet, though I do use it on my

Even quicker: hold down Ctrl+Shift while left-clicking it to run as Administrator, no right clicking required.

The big problem, for me at least, is that I'm really looking forward to the Windows 8 machines (oh the things I could do with a transformer and an active digitizer) except that the fall semester starts significantly before Windows 8 will probably launch. I don't want to have to go a few months without a laptop, and

The station name is Channel 955 (95.5FM).

It could also, I suppose, function as thermal paste if you're *really* in a bind...

As a Michigander, I completely approve.

Interestingly, I coulnd't find anything specific either way. I'm pretty sure, though, that Windows will convert it to GPT if necessary.

I'm pretty sure that in order for Windows to boot using EFI, you must use GUID and 64-bit Windows 7... MBR and 32-bit will not work. You can also easily format right from the Windows 7 install DVD by pressing Shift+F10 at the installer, and loading up diskpart.

It has an active digitizer?!?! Finally a company has come to their senses!

Laptop prices are sure to be especially low right now, with Ivy Bridge right around the corner. One the one hand, great prices. On the other, your computer will be outdated within two months.

If I upgrade to Pro for one month, and get the extra upgrade space, and then downgrade back to free, do you they think they would let me keep it?

I use Common Sense 2012 Personal Edition. Combined with MSE, works pretty well for my needs.

With Ivy Bridge notebook CPUs coming out in early June, are discrete graphics really necessary anymore? If you prefer battery life to performance, the new HD 4000 series is way more than adequate for a laptop. I wouldn't even mind a desktop with just integrated graphics now. It can even run Crysis, and most people

As cool as this is, the biggest problem I have with it is that it is built for a tablet that only has a capacitive screen. My understanding was that the Courier would have an active digitizer. I've tried to write with a capacitive stylus, and it's pretty bad, and pales in comparison to using something like a Wacom

An issue many people might have is overscan. Even on some newer HDTVs, overscan is enabled by default, even for HD inputs. I know on my Bravia I had to change some setting to "Full Pixel" to turn off overscan, otherwise the edges of the image would not be visible. On a friend's TV, there was no such option, and I had
