Also, the trail of Chucks in this show is formidable.

The point is, they waste time each episode by showing both scenes. This is what I meant about 20 posts ago about all these moments piling up the longer the show is on the air. But I guess that's a digression on my part.
More like on autopilot. She is such a blank slate when out of drag. Notice how the only two times she teared up, it was while in drag on the runway. In the workroom, it's like watching a blind shark feed.
That could be, but then they rehash the same exchanges the next day while they are waiting for Ru. Maybe shorten the morning session, whichever is less juicy on average.
The "After the Elimination" bumper at the top of the show is a semi-recent addition that I think is superfluous. They could dump that and just have the lipstick message cleaned the next morning like in the early days, and that would save a few minutes for other things right there.
And the waiters! OH PIT CREW…
I actually agree with all 3 of your points, although maybe not about about last week being as obvious as this week. I don't think there was any way to cover up the fact that Derrick was circling the drain from the time they walked into the workroom after Thorgy's exit. I'm more into the competition too, and I detest…
That's another good thing about this season — so many of the queens seem to have a big blindspot about themselves that they get defensive about. Naomi's wardrobe the first half of the season, Thorgy's inability to make decisions, Derrick's lack of awareness of the universe beyond her nose…
I remember in the early years of Project Runway, the best, bookoo shade was thrown at the dinner table during breaks. Kayne and Robert dissing on Laura Bennett and the others had me on the floor.
Ru has been shameless about squeezing out the tears on cue for a few seasons. Last season, she held up baby pictures of the finalists and asked them what their younger selves would tell them now. Hello, Pearl had a savage, horrible childhood filled with abuse. I thought that approach was a bit much for the runway in…
To me, they do need 90 minutes each week, because the longer the show continues, the more catchphrases and repeated bits each episode has to contain. It adds up over the years, and I've noticed several episodes from this season and last where the editing didn't totally support the outcomes. They need plenty of…
Let's be honest, 4 queens killed the challenge and 1 queen tanked miserably. I wouldn't have faulted Ru for skipping the lip sync this week. Bob merely took one for the team. Not since Darienne Lake took out Magnolia Crawford…
Knowing the history of this show, any time I see a new character like Hannah who speaks in such a measured manner, my first panicky thought is "she's a plant/operative sent in by political enemies to bring down the Florricks from the inside." It was a letdown to see that she was nothing more than a script placeholder…
I didn't cry, but I was definitely sad when I realized it could be the last time I see Stockard Channing and Dallas Roberts on the show.
Is the Governor's mansion even a thing? No one is living there if there is one. It could very well be a pop-up Drury Inn and Suites while Peter is governor…
Over the years, the population of Mandyville has grown to the point where it has incorporated as Mandy City.
Single Female Lawyer Poochie died on the way back to her home planet.
Mike Myers gave Liz a go in an SNL cold open in 1992. The Queen is addressing the public regarding the division of assets in the Charles/Diana divorce.
Oh I think there's definitely a way she is that clueless about the world outside of Britney Spears and Las Vegas. She is great at what she does, but when it comes to social interaction or small talk, she seems to be quite blank and humorless at times.
I wasn't reading Thorgy, as much as showing how comfy the show has gotten living off the past without making new things that are equally catchy or memorable. It is about the game.
