There could be a 100% shortage of anything from Molson Coors and it would have precisely zero effect on my ability to get drunk.

So it is completely implausible that a traveler from England brought a copy to New York, and said copy ended in the hands of Bucky Barnes? Or is it implausible that Bucky Barnes traveled to England in 1937 and found a copy?

Edit:  Looking at your screenshot, let me call out the Xena solution from the Simpsons:  A

Theorizing is fun. Getting mad because professional writers, actors and producers, not to mention the suits in charge of a keeping an $11 billion franchise going, don’t use your fan-fic is toxic.

LOLOLOLOLOL... I’m in a fight with someone over on AV Club and that person is arguing they should have ditched the TV concept sooner!

The lesson is - we fans suck.

Gab: The official platform of “But why is it ok from them to use that word?”

In Gabs defense, It’s Gab. If you ever expected privacy or security from a place that allows the unmitigated use of racial slurs and hate speech, then... that’s you own fault.

Maine just ditched the vaccine schedule that prioritized front line workers, and is going entirely age-based. I’m hoping I can get a shot before the end of May; adding a vaccine or 3 would surely speed that process.

Apple has very strict rules with their Mac. They didn’t want to give people the right to repair and they don’t allow clones like the IBM PC, so you can’t build a custom Mac and they don’t license their OS to OEMs like Microsoft does with Windows and Google with Chrome OS. Also, Macs may not be very upgradable either.

Anything north of 60% is considered a success. If you’re lucky enough to choose by all means get the one you trust more but it’s still OK if the J&J vaccine is the only one available.

I was taught in grammar school in the 70's that “they” was used in cases where you wanted/need to be gender-neutral. I’m really surprised at how many people skipped this lesson.

First of all you have to define scientific uncertainty. A large segment of the population seems to take it to mean “we’re just guessing here”.

DC: TV side is a completely different continuity.
Marvel: Although TV side is in the same continuity, it also is (was) a different division operating on a different production schedule that made major crossovers exceedingly logistically difficult.

this is kinda good to me because it confirms if Cotton or Hawley are going to resonate with the Cultists and use that Cult 45 “mojo” to get nominated in 2024, they are going to have seriously dumb down their rhetoric, because there is no way the average mouth-breather Trump fan understood more than 60% of what he said.

Not a bug. Just terrible software design. Six of one and half another's dozen.

I really isn’t a bug though. They designed a system to meet the requirements of Arizona. After release Arizona changed the requirements. All software companies deal with this in different ways. It sounds like Arizona needs to put in CR(Change Request) and cut a PO(Purchase Order).

These parties celebrate a baby’s gender as their primary identifying characteristic—after all, we know very little else about them at that point.

If they were really that anxious to find out, they’d let the doctor tell them instead of taking a sealed envelope to the bakery/color bomb factory/plane pilot. They’re taking advantage of another excuse to have a party. Whatever. Just don’t kill your mom or burn half the state down.

While I think gender reveal parties are really fucking stupid, the primary reason why we didn’t find out the sex of any of our childrenis that the traditional “gender reveal” of your child, i.e. the doctor in the hospital room saying “it’s a girl!!” is one of life’s few remaining great surprises. I get that people are

I revealed my gender at a party once. It...didn't go well.
