The new one literally weighs more than the current Chevy Tahoe. It’s like 1000+ pounds heavier than other EVs in the same segment. I know they are usually heavy for their segment, but almost 6000 pounds is nuts. It hurts the braking, the handling, the range, the acceleration, the safety, and a long list of other issues…
Overall I want sub 5 second 0-60,
That was gonna be my answer. Just get another 135. Or get a 235i. The 135i is a bit of a collectable, so the 2 series is cheaper.
I’d be nervous about parts availability of the GTO, especially body and interior. I don’t think I could bring myself to track it.
Does it have to be a manual?
$22k for a fucking GTO LOL
I’m that douche. If you’ve ever driven around on a cold day with the top down and heater blaring (bonus points for heated seats), you’d probably be one too. It’s like being in a hot tub during a snow storm - it’s awesome.

The thing was cared for super well by the previous owner and I have made out like a bandit so far. The entire car, including the wheels came recently ceramic coated, and 85% of dirt comes off with a lead blower and…

Take away the badge and you couldn’t convince me that you’d know it was a BMW. It’s a weird looking machine and I don’t like it.
Because nothing would make this guy happier than to be able to post a video to his YouTube channel titled: “The cops crushed my car and made me film it.”
This guy has been claiming that his social media income paid for the car. He also told police when he was ticketed that he was going to keep on doing it because he was making so much money. He’s an absolute ass.
Social media is his income. He probably makes enough in views that the fines won’t deter him.
The initial pushback from Toyota stans (weird to say - but they were all Tundra owners) on this was weird. Early on, a surprising number of folks couldn’t get themselves to believe Toyota made a fundamental error and looked for every way to blame the owner. Saw everything from bad gas to not break in period to over…
